    Our general approach to Rule 8 is that it applies to political controversies within the last twenty years. Talking about ancient history is fine. Unless you're doing some obvious workaround to talk about modern stuff, which we will notice.

    Yes, this was an intentional change to work around a bug where sometimes those links would go to the wrong page. We're waiting on an actual root-cause fix, at which point it'll be changed back.
