    Fiendfire would distract Dumbledore, but Bombarda would have all the teachers trying to save the wounded. Fiend fire would either be blocked or kill too quick. Plus, Voldy has some measure of a soft spot for Hogwarts.

    I'm pretty sure that the magical jocks would have the rule of "No player may use their wand while on the pitch" or something else that does not address the rare edge case of wandless magic. Though we don't see Potter get in trouble for casting a patronus while playing.
