The issue with logging in with email addresses has been resolved.
Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.

Yes, I agree it is in fact plausible that Theo could have rejected his parents' racist beliefs and nonetheless never developed or encountered any good logical arguments against them. And there are surely plausible reasons in terms of his thought processes why he wouldn't have presented Taylor...
Jesus christ, man, is it too much to ask that an actual anti-racist character who's broken away from a racist upbringing would actually have well-thought-out points? Look some up online if you can't think of any.
I'm willing to tolerate a lot in the service of an interesting power exploration...
There are people out there who will raise execrable ideas with the stated intent of mocking them, but make that mockery so subtle that you have to wonder at their true intentions. And sometimes those people will ultimately confess that mockery was never their actual goal.
In this case, though...
The problem is the juxtaposition of describing this kind of behavior by others with never actually seeing the Nazis themselves doing anything bad. They say nasty racist shit, but the narrator's attitude is always, "oh, this is wrong but maybe also sort of justified" and we never see them...
I liked this chapter a lot. The pacing seemed good; the flow from scene to scene made sense.
I like that the characters seem to be reacting to something earth-shatteringly strange by putting it in the context of things they know and treating it merely as highly strange. "Physical adept + mage...
My interpretation here is that the link to the familiar is reflected in the Familiar Background. Since using it on a new animal removes any pre-existing Familiar Background, that means doing so drops the connection to any previous familiar entirely. Unclear whether any upgrades to the old...
