Between life kicking me in the teeth over the summer, and me adjusting to new health stuff, as well as my career-shifting from normal work to online stuff I've had to massively readjust my writing schedule. I plan to do updates to many of my stories before the end of the year, but I doubt there'll be many until I adjust to doing Patreon and Jumpchain stuff.

I really, really like the BASIC premise behind an OP Evil Jumper. A merchant-type jumper with the ability to barter and purchase powers from people, is a super fun idea to me. I really fucked up the execution though.

I lowkey don't trust myself to do an idea that intricate, after how badly I messed up OP Evil Jumper, which was framed poorly from the start. I should not have framed it as he was OP, because that focus was wrong. I was dumb and I probably shouldn't be so hard on myself, but I did like the idea. I don't know if I'll ever try a TRUE rewrite. I do stop and think about it though. Sometimes even for hours.

i read ur story of adonis and superhero on sh long ago op mc is good but too op and the the journey ends there the readers would not be able to connect with the mc the problem with ur story was mc had no clear goal and ambition he was just reciving power and companions and the story was about reading their info dumps. if ur thinking of writing a story i have a few ideas!

This was inspired by a CYOA I saw on Reddit, that I really, really liked. It's a pretty rad slice of life CYOA that takes place in a magical-sci-fi city, and is dreamy story-bait. This jump is kinda out there, the setting is a weird one so I made a weird, supermarket-style jump, and I put in a number of ways to play. I really like it, and I think friends here might also like it.

A CYOA named "Welcome to Vaporwave City". It's mostly a slice-of-life decently supernatural setting with immaculate vibes.

I do this because I like to experiment with stories. My latest work, the last god story, will be published under my main name anywhere it's published by me. I plan to post it & share it around, so if you see it under Lucianowrites it SHOULD be fine. But if you're not sure, just send me a message!

Thank you! That was the intent. I wanted to try something smaller scale, while giving myself room and time to make the scale bigger over time :)

It's entirely possible that I'll actually attempt cold rewrites of my old stories, as over the break I assessed some of them and found that ones that I really, really liked like An OP Evil Jumper & My Living God Juttun story have potential but are not written in ways that actually satisfy me anymore. In both cases, I really like the ideas present, but I made choices that put me in a corner, writing-wise.

So, the "My Living God Juttun" story is on a rewrite? Perhaps you can put the current chapter as "apocrypha" while the new rewritten chapter be the one get threadmarked?

For now it's not on rewrite. I decided, for the moment, to keep it as is because I sincerely don't think it's as rough as OP Evil Jumper, mostly because it has so MANY less chapters. I might change my mind, but if I do decide to rewrite it, it'll be after the next chapter. I'm gonna wait and not do anything impulsive.
