        Chapter's sitting at 10k of a resigned estimate of 15k+. 3rd scene's complete, 2nd at 3/4, 1st barely touched since it seems I now work backwards. And to fess up, I haven't touched it in the last week thanks to rule 8 events.

        1) Thanks! I can confirm neither I or the story are dead. New job is just eating up all my energy atm. Current project finishes on Wednesday, so things should slow down after that. Hopefully. If people stop being impressed and dusting off old projects for me to do like the last two times.

        2) I'm undecided on whether or not I'll drop an update or just build a backlog until I finish the current arc and then post that regularly, tho. If I go with the latter, I'll be adding new chapters onto the end of 5 as proof I'm doing something and probably dropping word here or something; if it's the former, I'll be posting normally so the thread'll get bumped as usual.
