We've issued a clarification on our policy on AI-generated work.
Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.
I was more tempted before we essentially committed to the Edge sacrament. Just got on a tangent.Leaning towards Steppe’s, but we’ll see what the options look like. Don’t think whatever we choose is very high stakes.
And that’s all fair, I just don’t want to get the “I know we’re level 5 and under a max influence, but what if we use the re roll early it’s too risky” argument going. I’m being a little pedantic, but sometimes we get like that. Really the fact we’re studying the lantern artifact opens up others...
Eh, I think people overestimate the danger. I think Ourladyofwires commented at one point, it has some risk, but not disaster strikes, everything goes wrong. I think it could be worth the risk considering the plans this turn, but honestly don’t expect much traction. Really just want to finally...
I don’t think it would be an option if there wasn’t benefit. Considering Steppe’s connections, the generic option is probably useful, but not specific. Having more control could potentially fufill a specific need. I don’t know that anything we’re willing to do is going to be overall impactful...
I’m tempted to vote for Velvet’s personal SH sacrament since we’ll have the reroll, but I’m leaning towards Steppe’s FO. I know we’ll get something either way, but considering how we’re struggling with bits and resources it may be worth being able to have more options.
I wouldn’t say Velvet is good, but I also wouldn’t say she’s bad. Ultimately despite the My Little Pony background this is still an eldritch horror quest and Velvet is the protagonist. She’s come a long way power wise, but compared to the forces arranged against her she’s still weak. We got...
Honestly it might be one of the more mellow turn phase votes in a while.
Considering we voted for 2 Edge AotL the edge sacrament makes the most sense and I think everyone supports Soft Sweeps FO. Two study actions are probably locked in for sure considering the lantern influence. Really only...
I mean there’s stuff there, it’s just whether Velvet can grab it. She also won’t have any influence as we saw with the Master’s hive assault.
There’s also potential silver key opportunities. The knock sacrament encourages us to have Velvet take part in expeditions.
I mean we can talk about the...
I do find it interesting that some people are willing to take the risk with Hill, but aren’t willing to let Velvet get her hooves dirty under two influences that would be ideal. Obviously a chunk of this is just vote consolidation, but devouring the sky has mostly been the leading Hill plan.
Velvet willing to give into old hate and potentially hurt her family is arguably just as much of a backslide considering how much importance she’s placed on shielding them and her friends from the very beginning. This is a moral failing either way, though probably a necessary one.
We’ve seen...
Killing her father is just as much of an excuse. She doesn’t know about his criminal history. She may hate him, but the passion doesn’t seem to be there as much anymore. He doesn’t matter. Arguably this is much colder. Killing a random criminal affects less people. Killing her father...
I find this view frustrating. It’s a totally valid way to play, but as someone who likes Velvet and her allies and wants her to succeed it’s frustrating. I’m not necessarily one to say win at all cost and narrative isn’t important, but I would like Velvet to succeed in the end, but to each their...
For one Velvet doesn't actually know that. He's a terrible father, which if that's enough fair, but it's a constant running joke how Velvet doesn't actually know her family is the pony mafia.
More than anything I'm worried about us getting bogged down with more distractions. We keep getting...
Hill is no real threat to Velvet. Also I think you overestimate how much Velvet cares about him at this point.
So invading a noble’s home and making sure to cover it up, is easier then kidnapping some random criminal, I don’t buy it, but okay.
