  • Staff is working to deal with the problem of synonymous tags. See here for more information and to suggest tag mergers.
  • QQ will have forum downtime on October 21, starting at 10:00 AM Eastern time, for software updates.
  • Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com. Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
  • For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
  • Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
  • Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.

Oh yea, like Ethereal Effect but without foreknowledge. Sounds fun. This is making me wonder if a historical SI species of that sort but in Warhammer would be pursuing.

Yes, I was thinking of adding the crusader kings 3 tag, but decided otherwise because I wasn't really using the setting. I will add it now though. This is purely an original fiction, but I'd love to hear ideas for cross-overs. I do want to write some fun crossovers. Not so sure about Mass...

No, I most likely cannot make MC a ruler faster. I can try but the adventure is just beginning for now. Not much more of the CK3 system will be coming through EXCEPT for one big system. Will do a reveal soon. He probably won't incarnate into his heirs, not that kind of set-up right now.

A/N: Apologies for the wait. This one took quite a while, and you'll see what I mean. I am concerned that the writing may be too dense or convoluted. I am a researcher by trade, and the language tends to seep in. Please do let me know of any thoughts - be it about the plot, devices, or writing...

Fallen Star inherited much from his father. White Crow was widely regarded as a strange man fascinated with the esoteric; mind often elsewhere until it snags onto the most important of things. Perhaps that is why he seemed to take to fatherhood like a fish in water. While the boy didn't inherit...

    Threadmarks: Chapter 1

Man always kills the things he loves, and so we the pioneers, have killed our wilderness. Some say we had to. Be that as it may. I am glad I shall never be young without wild country to be young in. Of what avail are forty freedoms without a blank spot on the map? - Aldo Leopold...
