    I haven had much to comment on as it feels the story is getting a bit bogged down. Everything kind of at a standstill, city wide fire not withstanding. The writing is still good, but just...not much is moving along.

    Dust is highly volatile. Joffrey likely thought he could use Dust to awaken his Aura. He's a fool and now, likely a dead fool. Wow, that problem fixed itself...and it was likely Tywin who set that in motion with his lesson earlier that day. This is poetically beautiful!

    Varys is really pushing it here. Already people don't like him but he's going out on a limb and now team RWBY strongly suspects he is the one behind the attempt on Yang and the Assassination of the King. One more screw up and they likely have him and while they're at it, likely Baelish too...

    The Question becomes, assuming reliable two way transportation, could Remnant actually send a force to take the Kingdoms and hold them? Because their resources were stretched thin as it was fighting the Grimm.

    I'm really, really hoping that the girls could be a good influence on Joffrey and turn him away from the little shit he was in canon. But I got the feeling he's hiding his true self and biding his time to do something really, really stupid.

    Its amazing how the sheer implicit threat of a super human beatdown is enough to keep things mostly calm and keep people rational. Still not stopping the intrigue, but for the moment, things are peaceful.

    I see. Well then it's very possible Ruby and to a lesser extent Yang had it fly over their heads. No offense to those two but they don't pick up on subtlety to well. Where as Weiss and Blake are quicker on the uptake.
