Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
Uh. Highly spiritual devourer mech nomming on a cultivator that could fight it and win by himself will definitely have no consequences of note. Nothing to see here.
Full size, first iteration prototype warper, mind. Pared down version Odette got already could be used without overloading. And if there's one mech that I could see integrating bionic stuff while not being that itself, it's this one.
I believe the issue was that the noble got cheated out of an expert candidate concubine (which is a big deal and not something you can blame on a single in-house mechanic). The fight and the circus around it were just a set-up for Lilly to leave with them.
As an aside, since Morningstar is effectively 2nd rate except for reactor and Dowry can upgrade itself with eaten materials except for reactor, can Bolt use the opportunity (ie stay on a 2nd rate planet rich in mech-related businesses, already with access to construction facilities) to refit...
Then it wasn't worth it.
Speculative shots exist in every engagement, even last resort ones. No, *especially* last resort ones. Having one attempt when you have the initiative is fine, since you can pull back. Having one attempt when you're pushed is terrible, since you're facing a trade-off...
Single shot is pure suffering, it's insanely constricting. Even for just ambush, something like a 3-5 shell drum/clip would be a colossal performance boost purely because it'd let pilot take chancy shots and to keep threatening the enemy after firing.
Edit. QQ/net connection wouldn't let me...
On an unrelated note, does Bolt still have 'refine the accidentally-experted nanite system' on his docket? I reckon he could revisit the vampire idea, but instead of flying knives thing do a fast swordsman that deploys deconstructor and harvester nanites through the blade. Fancy midnight...
Yeah, hence me doubting. 'Artificial hand' is kind of intuitive, 'artificial eye', too, but 'artificial connector that lets one attach a bunch of extra eyes' is a bit too abstract. On a narrative level it almost feels like grafting some kind of broad 'all equipment feels like parts of your body'...
