Hey, tertius, what can you tell me about IPFS?
I took a look. To paraphrase, it seems like an ad-hoc, informally-specified, bug-ridden, slow implementation of half of git-annex.
Hey, tertius, do you have terminal black magick that allow you to mass download from pixiv?
You'll want to edit the config so it downloads to author_id/img_id because they like to change names or rename pics every so often. Other than that, take a look at the overwrite/backup/metadata download options closely to set what you want.
Another question, should I just run the script? Is there a way to properly install it, so I can... you know, remove it if I ever feel like it?
I run it from the directory of the git checkout, no installation at all.
A comprehensive collection of basically every story ever posted to ffnet, complete with a sql database of the metadata collected from the files fanficfare made as it scraped the site.
Organized alphabetically by category. 120gb compressed. About 300 unpacked.
Story Id #1 -10 million.
10-12 million is ongoing.
Damn, I'm gonna have to go through with deleting some porn to make space for this.
There are a number of deleted fics I'd want to see saved.
I can't help but feel that that quantity of Twilight, Naruto, and Harry Potter fanfiction should qualify as a virus and be quarantined before it gains sentience.
I get why you'd want it archived in case the site goes down, but that's like trying to archive and save the entirety of 4chan.
...people has done it, you know. Archiving entire 4chan I mean.
Well, not quite entire 4chan. More like various parts of it, scattered across internet...
Hey, tertius. This is a bit of weird request, but can you get a list of tags on danbooru and send it to me?
Yes, a list of tags. Not a list of tags of a specific pictures - all tags. I'll do it myself, but a) I haven't find a way to circumvent current censorship, and b) I honestly don't know, though I know it's possible. I mean, all those *booru downloader can do it, so there must be a way to do it manually...
