Sequels and Rule 7

So I started a quest set in the same universe as a quest I've previously completed. Would adding a new post in the old quest's thread (dormant for 6 months) advertising the new quest be allowed, or would that violate Rule 7? (I am the OP of both threads)

That's fine, go ahead. Notifying the thread of a sequel's existence would count as a significant contribution even if you weren't the OP, and, from my understanding, Rule 7 doesn't really apply to OPs anyway.

Yes, on both counts: the OP is always allowed to revive their own thread, and, linking to a sequel would be allowed even by someone other than OP.
