TFTC.yeah his target on his Life Will increase to the size of a Planet after its know that he can somehow form a blockade in hyperspace.

This is clearly bad time for the Hutts, which means bad time for all the people they bribe or blackmail. Won't be long now before the Senate demands the Jedi go and stop this.
I wonder if Anakin can bring some green to Tatooine with the mystic arts and if he will make his own conclave in the future there.

I do have an idea for the restoration of Tatooine but there is still time for that to happen.

Tatooine

Triellus Trade Route

"Sir, what now? We aren't actually going to Nal Hutta, are we?" Corlen asked, sweat gathering on his dark skin.

Anakin shook his head. "Of course not. Just to the intergalactic void outside the system. Our nav computers are going to act weirdly. Pay it no mind."

"Yes sir."

He focused, feeling the Hutt fleet in hyperspace. Or rather, the differing spacetime bubbles their hyperdrives created. Ten minutes in hyperspace was eighteen point five light-years, far beyond any ship's ability to travel on ion engines alone.

It was a blot of red in a field of white, a glaring point that stood out only to him.

He slammed his palms forward. Unseen to everyone, a wall appeared that would cut the entire hyperspace route in half. A fold point that would reverse the course of the ships by putting them in a mirror dimension and spitting them back out.

"Sir, we changed course! The fleet is returning to Tatooine," Corlen shouted from the comms.

"Pay it no mind," he said, focusing on the nav computer. Once they passed the second fold point he had decided on, he created another wall, this time behind them.

Kajidic's Tithe

"What is it?" Zam asked the navigator, who seemed to be cursing the computer.

"We… we changed course. We are heading back to Tatooine."

The Clawdite was taken aback. "That is impossible. There must be a malfunction in the navcomputer." No ship could ever reverse course mid-transit in hyperspace. The ship would have to return to normal space first before reorienting the opposite way.

You didn't just turn the helm around.

The Weequay turned to her, his face whiter than any right it had to be. "The rest of the fleet is reporting the same."

"What?!"

"That boy, he must have done something. No matter if he too changed course, we won't be far behind. Call the Boonta Maw; we need to inform Jango."

"Our signal isn't getting through. It just rebounds back."

"We changed course again!" the navigator screamed, rising from his seat to turn to her. "The fleet is heading back to Nal Hutta."

"Drop the fleet out of hyperspace now," she ordered. They would have to assess the situation first.

"Commencing emergency dropout," the helmsman said. The fleet came to an organized stop, which equaled each ship being light seconds away from one another.

"Where are we now? " she asked. Unless they were thrown wildly off course, the fleet should still be close to Tatooine.

"In the intergalactic void, two point five light-years away from Tatooine."

"Prepare to re-enter hyperspace. We can't let that boy catch the rest of the fleet from the rear."

Strange Tides

"Dropping out of hyperspace."

"All ships, prepare to fire. Target the cruiser first. If we take it out, the enemy will be at our mercy." Just as the ships left hyperspace, he entered the Astral Dimension to get a clear look at the last cruiser's bridge.

Boonta Maw

"The enemy fleet re-emerged from hyperspace right at our back."

"He is a fool. Wesell won't be far behind. Hail him."

The boy's hologram appeared quickly, with that insolent grin on his face. "You returned, just as expected. You know Wesell will be here in minutes, right?"

"She would, if they weren't stuck in hyperspace like womp rats in a cage."

Jango glared at the boy, putting his helmet on. "The cruiser's more than a match for your fleet."

The sorcerer smirked, moving his right arm in a circle and disappearing, though not without a retort. "Not with a rancor on your bridge."

Jango's eyes widened as he realized what was about to happen. He ran out of the bridge just as golden sparks opened a portal behind him, with a Rancor charging through.

Strange Tides

"Target the cruiser's engines; make sure it can't escape," he ordered once back on the ship. The mining ships had heavy lasers meant to tear asteroids apart. They were useless at long range and too slow to approach the cruiser without being slagged.

When the bridge of the sole cruiser exploded, it threw the rest of the fleet into chaos.

Under the cover fire of the rest of the fleet, they reached the rear side of the cruiser, their lasers drilling through the shields and then the engines. One of them struck a fuel line, causing a chain reaction that blew the engine compartment off before the safety measures kicked in.

"Sir, power fluctuations across the cruiser. Its guns are dying down."

"Target the remaining warships first and then the transports," he ordered, moving to take the helm.

With the Boonta Maw out of action and no sign that the away fleet would return, they were left without leadership. The ragtag fleet of the Freedom First capitalized on it, firing to kill. The sole hunter wing of the fleet, Golden Cloak, targeted the freighters modified to act as torpedo platforms.

The mining ships used their thick hulls to act as live shields for the ships as the crews rushed to evacuate, leaving everything to droids.

Their loss was acceptable.

Strange Tides

Anakin took the helm after the third time they were shut. He didn't know much about flying, but his instincts would serve him better here. A Z-95 Headhunter was on their tail, and the pilot was good, staying on their rear no matter what.

It was about to change.

The dark void shimmered, and he pushed the ship into the Mirror Dimension. The darkness was illuminated by a kaleidoscope of colors as everything in sight collapsed into non-Euclidean geometrical shapes.

He swerved the ship around, returning to normal space right behind the Headhunter. The pilot swerved quickly, but Anakin didn't let the Headhunter shake him off. He fired, missing the first two expert maneuvers, but the third one found its mark. The Headhunter's right thruster exploded, and the fighter spiraled out of control.

"Sir, we are getting a message from Golden Cloak. The corvettes are screening the freighters. They can't get through," Velin reported.

He clicked his tongue, thinking. It would take too long to neutralize each ship one by one. The spiraling Headhunter gave him an idea. "Orient the ship so the fighter is between us and those corvettes. Tell the Gold Cloak to wait for my signal."

"Yes sir."

A sphere of blue and white clashed with the gold between his palms. The Z-95 stabilized, surrounded by the white shimmer of hyperspace. He saw where each path would lead the starfighter and chose the most optimal one for maximum damage.

"The Z-95 is entering hyperspace," the sensor operative reported, puzzled as to how it was possible. That model didn't have a hyperdrive. It became even more unbelievable. Rather than enter the hyperspace, the ship was accelerating in the real space.

He hung his head in embarrassment, realizing it was the Sorcerer.

Anakin grinned and let go. The distance, measured in minutes, was crossed in an instant. The Headhunter carved a hole through six corvettes. The reactor in two exploded while another lost all power. One had its aft section turned to shrapnel, the fifth ship lost its bridge, and the last one was gutted from fore to aft.

"Tell them to move," he said, as the Gold Cloak Squadron was too slow to act.

"Gold Cloak, move on the freighters now. The mining ships are almost gone," Velin ordered through the comms. The thirty-strong mix of fighters and bombers pushed through the hole, targeting the freighters.

He watched the bombing run with glee. The torpedo banks triggered chain reactions, tearing the ships apart.

The ship-to-ship combat was quickly reaching its conclusion in their favor, but there were one hundred transport ships, lightly armed compared to the rest, making for Tatooine at full speed.

The Golden Cloak Squadron turned to deal with the remaining corvettes along with half of the fleet while the rest pursued the transports. Anakin flew Strange Tides ahead of the fleet, first to open fire on the transports, targeting the engines. Stopping them was a priority. Destroying them could come later.

The pursuit quickly entered the planet's atmosphere. The transports must want to disembark as many soldiers as possible to force their hand. Unfortunately for the Hutt Fleet, Mos Espa spaceport wasn't as undefended as they thought. Whatever heavy guns they couldn't put on the ships waited there, ready to fire.

Strange Tides led the fleet. Surrounded from both sides, the transport ships rained down in pieces.

"We need to prepare for the rest of the Hutt fleet," Corlen said, his hologram flickering. The fleets were still on alert. They had secured the remains of the enemy fleet, as well as the surrendering transport ships.

Anakin's smirk, which was quickly becoming a sign that he had something devious in mind, flashed beneath his hood. "They won't be coming."

"Are you certain, sir?"

He created a horizontal golden strand. Two vertical lines stood in the middle, a couple centimeters apart from each other. A circle appeared between the two lines, bouncing back and forth. "I blocked the hyperspace lane in two parts. The rest of the cruisers and the bounty hunter ships are stuck around two to three lightyears away from the system. They can't use hyperspace, and they can't travel to Tatooine at sublight speeds. They are stranded."

From both ends, more circles appeared, bouncing off the vertical lines and returning to the starting point. "In fact, no one can use the Triellus Trade Route without me fixing it."

Vega bit his fist, a high-pitched noise escaping his lips, his eyes shining. Corlen fell silent with a gaping mouth. Even the crew of the Strange Tides had fallen silent.

A hyperspace route could not be blocked. The technology for it did not exist. Only natural causes, like a hyperspace rupture, could make a route unusable. Blocking a route, any route, on purpose was not only the ultimate strategic advantage; it was also something that would have the entire galaxy's interest.

"Which still leaves the Old Kessel Run and the Corellian Run, even if they can't move a fleet through the second," Vega reminded. The Hutts wouldn't give up that easily, even if they were defeated this time.

"And the Tatooine Dash," Anakin added.

Corlen and Vega shared a glance. "Never heard of it," their smuggler said.

It was understandable since he only came to know of that particular hyperspace lane while spying on Jabba.

"It's a secret of Jabba's clan. The route starts at Nar Kaaga, passes through the Manda system, and ends at Tatooine. It cuts down on travel time significantly," he said, smiling. Jabba's clan knew the route and would no doubt try to use it, assuming it was still a secret.

"Then if you can block these two as well, the Hutts can't reach Tatooine, and we would have all the time to make our preparations." Corlen grinned. They could have the one thing they were pressed for.

Time.

"What about the stranded fleet?" Vega asked. Those cruisers would be extremely handy to have, especially since the Boonta Maw would need major repairs.

"We let them die as their supplies run out and then take the ships," Corlen suggested.

Anakin nodded. The ships weren't supplied for a long campaign. Their supplies, even rationed, would run out in weeks. Once the mercenaries, pirates, and slavers tore each other apart, the fleet would be theirs.

"What's the cruiser's state?" he asked. The rancor, before it died from asphyxiation, had caused a lot of damage.

"The engines are gone; they will need to be replaced entirely. The bridge too. We are searching for Jango Fett now, provided the rancor didn't eat him," Corlen said. The bounty hunter himself wasn't that important, given he was just a hired gun. What made him valuable was the prestige they would get from defeating someone of his caliber so easily.

Fett would be their poster boy.

Anakin scratched his chin. "He is tough; he might yet be alive." He would have to join the search on the sealed parts of the ship. Fett wouldn't come in without a fight.

Corlen nodded. His image left its place to that of a Hutt. "We also have someone I am sure you will be happy to see."

"This is Gorga the Hutt, basically the errand boy of the Hutt Council." While he couldn't see Corlen, his breathy tone made it clear Anakin wasn't the only one delighted by the news.

"Well, that certainly makes me happy. He will have a lot to tell us, no doubt, and if not, well, I am sure we can use him to terrorize the Hutts." They shuddered at the bloodthirsty grin on his face while Anakin imagined what it would be like if this Gorga were crushed by a rancor.

Tatooine

"Certain of this, are you?" Yoda asked. He believed in the Kel Dor Jedi Master. The situation just made him want to be extremely certain.

Plo Koon nodded. "We are, Master Yoda. We entered the route to test it. Our ship reversed course mid-transit after traveling for one point eight light years. We ended back where we started."

It certainly was a shock to them.

"This… this can't be the work of the Force," Windu said.

Obi-Wan raised an eyebrow. It was the first time he had seen the stern man lose his composure. Given the circumstances, it was understandable.

Master Oppo stroked his long, white beard. "When this spreads across the galaxy, it will lead to a crisis. While historical evidence exists that there were weapons capable of pulling ships out of hyperspace or blocking routes, they are history. A resurgence of it, especially at the hands of a complete unknown with no technology involved, will be chaotic to say the least." His analysis as a historian with the knowledge of ancient battles and militaries of both the Sith and the Republic presented only one result.

The council members, as well as the investigation team, fell silent.

"Masters, if I may," Obi-Wan said. He had something in his mind but wasn't certain about sharing it. Since no one else was speaking, he didn't see the harm in it.

Windu raised his hand towards Obi-Wan, palm facing upwards. "Speak your mind, Knight Kenobi."

"While I do believe the Sorcerer doesn't use the Force to fuel his abilities, I think he is Force-sensitive," he said.

Plo Koon and Quinlan turned to Obi-Wan. That certainly wasn't something they had noticed or discussed.

Yoda hummed, leaning on his cane. "Reach this conclusion, you did. How?"

"While Master Plo Koon was speaking to him, I felt a faint wave of Force, something you would completely miss if you weren't looking. I thought it was the Force reacting to how the laws of physics were trampled upon, but now I think it was from the Sorcerer." It had taken him an embarrassingly long time to notice it.

"What did you feel, Obi-Wan?" Windu asked, leaning forward. Every single detail could help the council better understand this anomalous situation.

"He was… amused," Obi-Wan said. Windu blinked, falling silent, while Yoda huffed.

"Convince him to take the midichlorian testü Master Plo Koon should," the Grandmaster suggested. By no means would it be an easy task, but they had sent Plo Koon for a reason.

Windu nodded. "Agreed. Perhaps it can give us an insight."

Plo Koon bowed. "As you wish."

"May the Force be with you," Windu said.

In the next chapter:

"Obi-Wan?" he asked. Had something gone wrong with the scans?

The knight's voice was breathless as he answered. "It's over twenty thousand per cell. Even Master Yoda's count isn't that high."

"I don't believe anyone ever had such a high number," Quinlan said, glancing at the Sorcerer.

Anakin shrugged, taking his seat again. "Don't look at me. I have no idea how that happened."
