Pixie of the Hidden Leaf. Tanya Umino, Iruka's little sister.Because I don't see why she can't be f#cking just like any citizenjof the Fire Nation!
I'm actually of the opposite opinion it's not really an issue for me but I prefer when the first name transfers and she picks up her local family name. In my experience I feel like when she has a different name the author kinda drifts farther from the original character than those who use Tanya. That might be like a placebo or something but it is my experienceDoes anyone else feels annoyed when some authors insists on keeping Tanya's name to still be the same despite of her being reborn in a world where said name shouldn't be possible due to the difference in culture, language, and society?

nether Azula or Tanya are sociopathAzula was… a budding sociopath. I recognized the signs well. I exhibited them myself, after all.
Azula definitely has a lot of the traits associated with ASPD though. It gets a bit messy because she's a fictional character and a child, but she hits of lot of the beats for some sort of personality disorder.nether Azula or Tanya are sociopath. i wish people stop using that stupid word

Sociopath is literally an outdated term for ASPD.
A personality disorder is a diagnosis, not a cause. Her behavior can still be caused by environmental factors and she could still be diagnosed with ASPD.…vast majority of her behaviour and views come from her father and culture she's raised in and not because of some personality disorder
Well damn, I'm curious about how Tanya and Azula's relationship will develop from this and how Azula maybe different from it"Azula is... strong. She'll be fine without me here."
I stared at the half-formed character on the page, watching the firelight dance over the ink. Well, that told me all I needed to know.
Does it actual ruin your immersion in the story that much to have an out of place name??? Because that seems like way to much wasted emotion over a very minor thing.See? At least the authors that did it made an effort to localized her name to have her blend in more with the setting!
Here, it's just a lazy copy-paste without any regard whether it fits or not!
All for the sake of dumb character recognition for a dumb audience.

Dumb audience here, i prefer no change Tanya to an original name. Yes, a somewhat stylized Tanya would be best, but if the choice is between no change Tanya and an completely original name, no Change wins out every time. At least that way i know who is who.See?
