    The moment he was wounded in a fight against Skulker was Danny dragged along with Skulker into a natural portal. Skulker had hit Danny with an experimental gun he had stolen from Technus Lab.

    After he was shot Danny had started to sweat and had a stinging in the chest and without him knowing it he started to de-age. His Body had started to turn back into that of a Toddler. He lost his jumpsuit and shoes in the Portal because they do not longer suited him and have fallen down, he came naked at the other end of the Portal.


    On the other end of the portal, before Skulker could kill him, someone on the other side rescued him and killed Skulker.


    Because the weapon hit him when he was still in his ghost form, it had changed the ectoplasm in his DNA that his natural hair now was silver and that he could no longer could transform from human to ghost. Danny kept the strength, speed and stamina of his ghost form in his new Human form.

    Many natural Ghost portals that open and close without warning and lead to various locations in space and time, such as the Bermuda Triangle, the Dimma-Dodecahedron, and the Salem witch trials.

    Hmmmm....interesting concept. I vote he be found by Zatanna. She’s the most equipped to handle mystical/supernatural occurrences. Either her or poison ivy ( if you want to go down the villainous route )
