How did you find QQ?

A friend pointed me at Erogamer, and then I started poking around more generally. It's a fun little forum, if a bit prone to high-level meta lit-crit. Reminds me of being in college.

 

I've happened to browse SV randomly (bad idea, I know) and saw someone whining about Q.Q. being, like, totally toxic and stuff. So I thought it could be a good place

Well one day I was randomly looking for some Worm sex fanfiction, specifically Heartbreaker-centric. I was searching on reddit for any heartbreaker-centric fanfiction and then I come across the mention and a link to soem worm fanfic about an OC who basically has Heartbreaker's powers and calls himself 'Majesty' halfway through the story while looking to get revenge on the gangs of Brockton Bay. So I click on the link, set up this account and wow what a den of decadence and debauchery this place turned out to be!

 

Got it off Anon-kun. Saw Chastity's Repeater quest there, then read about this site on the chat. Then I came here.

I would say during last year I was reading some SB fics and reading worm that led me to QQ and SV due to how occasionally its talked about and other others cross-post or post their nsfw fics here besides FFnet and Ao3

 

Pretty basic. I was looking for Worm stuff to read and came across a dead link on SB. Couldn't figure out why until I went through reddit and found out the poster was banned on SB and someone said I could find it here. Ended up not being too into the fic, but I like this place so it was worth it.

 

Cambrian's FFN page is what drew me here.

 

Bluepencil told me about this forum back when I had a stint on Frozen in Carbonite.

 

I was reading a worm fanfic with a serial killer protagonist which was dropped on SB but continued on here but abandoned again after a few more chaps in. I’ve stuck around with hopes to find something like that again but all I can find is badly written porn on the nsfw side of the site

 

Just realised I have a SB account I never used while sorting out my passwords, which has an author I followed from Royal Road to SB. So it went RR>SB>SV>QQ

Edit: Just found an approved AltHistory account... no idea when I discovered that, never been used though. I assume I forgot about it during the approval process.

 

People on fiction.live have talked about QQ. Now I use both since both have similar content.

 

Found out about it from the SV\SB duo, but was reminded about it again from /qst/.

I was looking for some taylorxdennis fics and a reddit post directed me to here.

There was a work on webnovel in which each chapter recommended a self insert fanfiction. They were all mostly good, and I got alot of good works from there. Anyway, like, 25% of the works listed were posted on here, much to my ire, as I couldn't view any of them. Eventually I caved and made an account. It was the beginning of a wonderful journey.

 

I first heard of QQ from Fanfiction.net, funnily enough. From the review/comment section of one of Cambrian's old stories, forgot which one. At that point of time, I haven't started on forums, so it was like, three years later that I found something about of QQ again in SB. Got curious, and here we are.

 

I found Ack's sfw fanfiction stories, and searched for more of his work.

I heard rumors on SB about a great purge before SV came to be, a purge of the interesting characters who managed to get NSFW content on an SFW site. Then I was told of this place by several members of another child forum of Spacebattles called Frozen in Carbonite (which, surprisingly enough, I became a founding member of... via another child forum of Spacebattles called Digital Wild West) years later after I heard of these rumors and thus here I am.

 

I wanted feedback on, well, my porn. A03 comments aren't exactly great for that. So I came here.

 

I was looking for Worm stuff to read and QQ was one of the sites listed, decided to make an account.

 

Ha, I noticed just now. I became a member here only a day after I did so at SpaceBattles, and I found the references to QQ on SB, so.... Damn, I work quickly.

I don't remember exactly what made me start an account here, though. Maybe for the times I was in the mood for NSFW, maybe just in case I wanted to write NSFW; maybe it was some familiar names that I noticed.... Well, probably all of that.

 

I first heard of it when I was binging Mr Zoat's With This Ring. It was either hearing about it on the threads, or seeing his thread on the sfw board when searching for his story only thread through Google. It was definitely one of the two, though I'm not sure which came first.

 

I came from Webnovel. Saw a link pointing to FFN, but I didn't much like the feel of that place, so I looked up the Author's story somewhere else.

Found this place through a link to an NSFW thread and registered in the hopes of actually finding some sauce. Wasn't disappointed and am now regularly bothering the people here.

Found it 2 years ago while searching for new stories when sufficient and space battles weren´t filling the void anymore the nsfw part of this site has been my favorite place since then.
