I'd forgotten how wholesome Adventures in Moomin Valley was.
I'm glad I found this series, and that he's enjoying it.
Also Moomin Mamma is best mom ever of all time.

 

My little pony shares A lot of voice actors from black lagoon just wanted to share it's kinda funny.

 

After watching 300 slime the main character's voice sounded familiar to me.

God damn Yuuki, Aoi is an amazing voice actor.

 

Guys does anyone know how to get chrome notifications for QQ alerts? I get them for SB and SV but not QQ.

 

SB and SV use Xenforo 2, while QQ is on XF1.
The notifications are a feature of XF2, and won't be available on QQ until the (unfortunately inevitable) change.

 

I was gonna get a series X or S this year to shake things up, but the new Ratchet&Clank trailer is just so fuckin baller I have to get a PS5.

Playstation exclusives are fun but a real pain when you wanna get into Xbox.

 

I think i'm gonna skip this console generation and focus on PC gaming.

 

I'm going to be getting a switch pro if that happens.

Better be able to transfer all my games to it or I'll murder someone.

It feels weird knowing Berserk isn’t ever going to be finished. I’d joked before about how Miura was going to die before he got around to wrapping it up, and now I kind of feel bad about saying that.

 

If he left behind plot outlines and asked for it to be finished, there's a high chance that his assistants will keep working on it (this happened to Familiar of Zero, but without assistants it took a long time).

If he didn't, yeah. Forever unfinished.

 

Today's not a day to write. Bleh. Just can't get it up to put pen to parchment.

 

Wonder if there is someone evil enough in the company(waifu catalogue) to collect the wife Ellie from the movie Up.

 

Has Shiro touched the waifu catalogue? I stopped reading his stuff about a year ago.

 

Idk who is shiro, I generally don't read any usernames, so I am lost about who you are talking about. The only username that I remeber from this entire site is Chastity's that too because I read like all of his threads here.

 

The Dark Wolf Shiro is one of the more consistent writers on this site, if he still has the schedule I remember. Pretty good author, long chapters, engaging characters, not afraid to shake things up in his stories. Only real complaint I have is that his MC’s all sorta feel the same, but again, that might have changed since.

He also, if I’m not not wrong, sparked the latest kick of Gamer stories in the last year or so. The ones that feature gacha as a main element and that usually start with a “in the void I’m dead expo dump and character creation” that’s pretty common. Either him or AgelessReaper, who is also a pretty good author.

Just once, I'd like to read an SI 'foreknowledge' story where events occur in complete inverse to what they think will happen, and how they adapt to the changes. I'm so tired of SI stories where they just infodump "here's what's going to happen" and then it happens.

Don’t sell those three yet. There’s likely a short squeeze coming up. If that happens, stock value could end up spiking into the hundreds of dollars per share range, like with Gamestop.

 

Just discovered that my old Newgrounds Account still exists. Sadly, I can't for the life of me remember the E-mail address I used for it, meaning I can't access it. I also just learned that a german fanfiction site, and forum I frequented around the same time I made the account don't exist anymore, the former got deleted by the admin, apparently, and the domain of the latter is now vacant.

Now I'm sad. Anyone know a way to cheer yourself up from finding out a good chunk of your teenage years are new gone?

Man, don't make me feel old! I was a little kid at the time.

I've been on a Madness binge for the last few days, downloading the most recent version of the Newgrounds Player, watching the originals and Incidents in full. Wasn't aware Krinkels was still making the series, which was a pleasant surprise.
I also watched some of the fan spinoffs, the Collabs, Xionic Madness, and a relatively new series called "Descent", by Col-ON, which has a distinctly Soviet/Eastern Bloc feel to it.

Ultimate Showdown is an absolute classic too. Nostalgia punch right in the gut.

Salad Fingers is a bit too creepy for my tastes. I'm not the kind of person that likes to be freaked out.

I knew Pico was a thing, but never checked it out. I think that might be long overdue.

 

Even though its been five years since the previous episode, the reboot of an old legend of Newgrounds recently got a new episode on youtube.

 

I'll give it a look.

My Newgrounds binge also made me check out Henry Stickmin again (since the death of Flash rendered Stickpage all but unusable, sadly), as well as some other Stick animations.

Can't explain why I am suddenly looking up such old material. Maybe I long for a simpler time long gone in these trying times.

I skimmed through some of the 'top' stories there (fanfic mainly) and it's like they are all written by the same guy. Super garbage writing.
