Summoning a Name just calls a small sliver of their being into the Wake. The actual larger entity remains where it is in the Mansus.
which is by the way the implied reason for why a Name summon is actually apparently SIGNIFICANTLY weaker than a normal Long.
The Long in the Wake is at full power. the summoned Name has access to a fraction of their power.
...and then we have beings like the Ligeians, which resides FULLY in the Wake, and are apparently all Name Alukites. That certainly helps explain why they're so difficult to kill, if in General Name+ tier beings mostly reside in the Mansus.

Why have we settled on Edge and Knock training? I'd quite like the +5 bonus, especially without rerolls available for Selene it makes her decently more effective.
And really I'd prefer to talk to Eclipse instead of making the Bureau personally loyal (I think having chosen a bunch of people who are morally upstanding... that's a pipe dream).
Also proposing an alternative that'll summon Biedde to guard instead (and as such does a social with Mareinette instead).

I'm fine with talking to Eclipse. In some ways I actually like it more than bureau loyalty. they're near equal to me.
I'm slightly against Mareinette social because... well, partly because I just don't like the idea of her doing social for us, even if she's good at it. Partly because if we then do NOT summon Biedde in the next plan (which could happen) we're left without a guard (or only a Mare in the Light, I suppose, as long as that summon succeeds)
People seem to think there's fighting in the near future, hence wanting to get her Edge sharpened. As to the Knock, we're summoning Axe this turn which would make for a very auspicious training opportunity, either by observing the ritual, Axe herself, or some other inspirational happenstance. The proper things in the proper place at the proper time, as they say. Makes the story run smoother.
Admittedly if she's using three actions to train this turn, she's likely not actually fighting.
only way I can see Selene fighting THIS TURN is if we put her on GUARD duty, or other actions likely to include combat. We have been told after all that if we don't put someone on Guard duty they'll near certainly NOT be there to fight.
All in all I admit I'm just curious to see her realization powers. That said, I'm fine with anything in her action list except Health (which only becomes relevant if she's actually fighting for her life against peer opponents).
Now then, I'm a bit torn on the Lunar Bureau. On the one hoof, the next threat to Equestria probably isn't going to be the Changelings. On the other hoof, the fact that the Bureau has yet to catch even one Changeling is probably horrendous for Celestia's opinion on this experiment.
in our defense... we haven't actually been working on the changeling for that long? Her first assignment was NOT changelings, after all, it was the Blueblood family. and before that we actually had to recruit.
I seem to remember that Baldomare and ol' Woody did something to the Changelings using Moldywarp's stone or whatever relic they had that utterly and profoundly screwed them over as a species. Hence Chrysalis ordering the Catastrophe as an act of sheer spiteful mutual destruction.

probably not extinct. It seems that they SOMEHOW kept their shapeshifting, it's just that now it's no longer a "lie to the world", and you CAN doubt a shapeshifted changeling.
It still makes them far less dangerous, AND with Chrysalis dead also less organized.
The sad thing is... some changelings might even have considered surrendering... if it wasn't for "burning hot" angry Celestia. Think of Thorax.
...damn, I'm having flashbacks to when we sacrificed the two changelings... I have this horrible suspicion they were Pharinx and Thorax, just because Bird can be really cruel when he wants to be
You know, I really don't vibe with the whole graverobbing for a risen thing, it just seems like a bit too much risk for not quite enough reward since we don't really have anyone who is really suited to it in terms or lore and/or personality.
Technically Selene is very well suited to it, actually.
She's MOTH for stealth, WINTER to probably not be repulsed by it, Knock to get in locked places... Edge to understand the importance and necessity of conflict?
and her general bonus is really high too.
I just think it's a waste AND a bit in poor taste to have our daughter find us corpses. I don't even think she'd mind THAT much though, she is after all in large part a Luna from 1000 years ago, from a time where Combat and death were probably more common. And hey, better it be a dead body than a living one.
I'd still avoid it because I think getting a Risen is not worth delaying Luna's training. if we do triple training two turns in a row, then start of turn 21 we can get her to All-4, General +30 and Health 7.
that's Huge, and makes her comparable to our Names in many things, if also more flexible.
if shit goes REALLY bad, a fully trained Selene with an Edge 4 influence could probably defeat Daybreaker, even, and possibly Mareinette (though she likely has tricks that would allow her to survive)
Why all the sudden worry about being attacked. I seen nothing to indicate we even gotten a hit of that.
And if your really worried lets just send Biddie and Ax and wipe Copper off the map.
Because turn 17 we survived an
EiB from NEIGHNIA, we struck back, and then turn 18 went
too quiet.
So there's a few possibilities there
1) Copper thought we died, and only realized later we survived, and so she'll do something this turn
2) Copper thought we survived, and has been preparing for a more "conventional" attack on us
3) Copper has gone mad, and is not in any condition to act against us.
4) Copper thinks current Velvet is a Changeling and will not openly act against us anymore
Fact is, there's a decent chance that Copper will attack us again. She didn't LAST TURN, but that doesn't mean she won't at all. Maybe she's just amassing more Windigos to absolutely destroy us. She likely gave up on Ritual attacks after an EiB from THE WINTER NAME failed.

It took quite awhile, and it might be confusing, but I created a comparison table of all the plans.
Some rows are consolidated, while others are fully separated by value. So, for example, the common miscellaneous actions are grouped on their own row, while the blank spaces can be ignored/are basically there for aesthetics/legibility. (It just annoyed me when it became impossible to line up Selene's actions, and I built it out from there.)

@spiderhellian It seems Plan Bonus Eclipse only allocates eight follower actions, unless I'm missing something? It can allocate nine since you want to summon Axe.
Nice. you could probably remove some of the things that are LITERALLY in common for every plan.
For example, I think there will be absolutely no plan that won't go for "summon Axe" and "+1 action from Cover your Bases", so those lines are mostly irrelevant.
I would have expected the same for Rarity Commission and Canterlot part 2, but apparently there IS a plan that ignores them

I think it's funny that Pittauro plan is not posted by Pittauro. It feels like buying from a scam company that pretends to be legitimate.

I find it a bit amusing as well, but then again I explicitly said I was fine with others posting it for me as I was going to sleep a few hours before the end of the moratorium
I was considering just giving it a different name so it wouldn't be as weird, but

Seems like the one for me, lots of progress and little chance for a random failure to create entirely new problems.
honestly my favourite thing about my plan is that... well, it doesn't really constrain us to do something specific in the next vote.
If we vote for getting a body, for example, that means we then kinda HAVE to use that Risen (to summon either Biedde or a Mare) or it's just a waste.
and if we're not putting a Name on guard duty right now, then we basically HAVE to put our next new summon on that duty (be it Biedde or Mare in the Light), which I don't really want to do until we see what their traits are.
This plan takes care of what I think are the essentials (more bits, selene trains, essential scrying), and everything else can be argued about later.
