    As I read more stories, I find I'm starting to hate protagonists who give away a lot or all of their key information upon first impressions with characters who misunderstood or are hostile towards said protagonists. Like, those guys are trying to kill you and you want to be friends with them after beating them up? Fine. But telling them all your shit in exposition before beating them up? Ugh!

Like a protagonist that is hilariously OP in relation to the setting yet keeps acting like a shy introvert even when he really shouldn't be and just doing what other people tell him to do, even when he doesn't want to and has the power to not go along with the flow but it would be impolite to do so.

    I used to like semi-insane protagonists doing crazy stunts and stuff, but after reading a few authors try it and keep adding elements into the setting to keep up with escalating insanity, ruining pacing and plot, I realized the error in my ways
