Menaleus actually sounded quite normal guy for his times. IIRC he felt really down over how many good men died just to get one woman back. Paris however was coward and selfish to his core. He seduced Helen and took her away from Sparta with some gold treasures he stole from treasury.
He felt really really bad about rallying all of Greece and pulling on all his alliances to go and wipe a city off the face of the earth rather than going to negotiate.
Helen was taken right after forming alliance with Troy. Paris action broke this peace agreement and dishonored a king of Sparta. Back then wars started for pettier reasons. And had to act quickly. Menaleus didn't have legitimate claim to the throne of Sparta.
Anyway. What is mot beautiful and attractive fictional character you wouldn't bang even if you could?
Any of them who wouldn't be interested in me. Beauty isn't on a single measurable scale, so I can't point at any of the characters I consider attractive as the most attractive.
