Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
If you wish to change your username, please ask via conversation to tehelgee instead of asking via my profile. I'd like to not clutter it up with such requests.
I was starting to get worried the IRS would be coming after me if I didn't get things in order rofl, but he calmed all my fears and alleviated my stress. =)
Nah, didn't really think about it at first. I actually hadn't ever met with or even talked to the guy before my phone call with him today.
Essentially, I live with my mother so for the last four years she's been claiming me as a dependent and I've given her my W-2 so she could file our taxes through him together. As a result, he's been filing my taxes for free these last four years.
Now though, I can't really be her dependent anymore, so I gotta step out of the nest and learn how this shit works rofl. So far so good though, making money and making sure its all above board so far.
It probably is weird. Like I said, I'm very new to all this. It was probably a stumble that I didn't even think about talking to my tax guy until Patreon had me fill out a W-9 form.
Still, I haven't managed to do anything terribly wrong or screw anything up too badly. Worst case scenario, as I grow this thing I'll probably want to pay taxes quarterly instead of yearly to keep everything nice and in order.
Id be tempted but he's also my mom's Tax Guy. I wouldn't mind telling him if worst case scenario was him dropping me as a client, but I don't wanna hurt my mom in the process.
