    In Exalted lore it was explained that Warstriders are a Power Armor. They are Daiclave to a mundane sword when compared to smaller Power Armor. So technicaly there is no chance for unenlightened mortal to ever use one.

    Indeed, even a common or scout warstrider has an attunement cost of twice what Skin Mount Amulets could provide.
    But, and this is a big but, because it's a stupid idea...
    If you built one entirely/mostly out of yellow jade, it might be reasonable for it to have an attunement cost of 5, thus making it possible for an unenlightened mortal to use if they were willing to sacrifice half of their lifespan.

    Basically such mortal pilot would be a bootleg Alchemical. Wich is now not so impossible to happen if he/she lived in 1st age and was result of some Solar lord experiment. Because they would totally do that even just for shit and giggles.
