For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.

A Puella Magi quest, first of all, that lets you start as early as six months before Homu starts looping or at late as mid-final loop. The skill system is a combination of "mastery tiers", d10s, and a few more things but honestly it's a bit of a work in progress still.
I'm not sure how Homu looping (other than prior/failed/final loop) then is entirely relevant per say unless you can loop along.
Other than that, dice reliant systems will need care to avoid modifier breakage or dice polarizing results going FUBAR.
Also on ages, to be fair, this is QQ, so it's not as much an issue. Compared to say SB/SV. Or you can just fudge ages... along with differences to account for that?
Timeline wise, figured I'd throw a comment. Depending on scope, you may want to do two options when the Homura looping time angle becomes a thing, vote wise.
Under either "first timeline" moemura (pre Puella magi, possible Madoka as well.) Or a time "Time looper" (first time, and/or 'extra tries') who 'could' function as a 'save point'. As much as she could have possible bias for/against the MC, action wise.
And though on the best case scenario, it may lead to Homura dragging the MC to 'help' with dealing against Walpurgisnight (or not.) And keep Madoka away from becoming a Witch (or delayed.) Worst case, it'd be like the 'Lancer death' montage, check point wise. That can quickly escalate to a death/gunned down end on a "per loop" basis.
