    How about a gamer!Overlord story where the protag isn't the overlord? I can't remember ever reading a story where the protag is an imp. Or maybe even a lesser hero. One of those we never heard about because he got killed early? Heck, take a tavern wench and have her work her way through UNLIMITED POWAAA!

    If you want something that fits it perfectly: Elder Srolls, or Dragon Age would be ideal candidates(great characters available in both aswell). Lord of the Rings could work too, but I'd say it has less amusing characters(perfectly synchronized tho).

    If we're going for something a tad more creative, and unique(but not necessarily game breaking). Then something like Harry Potter, Warcraft or even Pokemon/One Piece.

    How did you imagine the crossover tho? As in he travels back and forth, it's mix of both worlds, or as in he gets the perks form one world/goes through it first?

    Ah, so he's just an Overlord - But not in there... Hmm I feel like strongly recommending Elder Scrolls, Warcraft, or LOTR then. I suppose GOT's could work too, but it's as magically active, nor as filled with different races or powerful beings to co-operate/contend with.

    Dragon Age could work, but it's too busy already dying all around for the Overlord to have that much of a role - Beyond becoming a hero instead xD
