Questionable Questing

Hah, thanks. With a show like Interspecies Reviewers airing this season it would be a shame not to talk about it with like-minded deviants, but SB definitely isn't the place for it.

So, write anything recently?

Not as such. Been busy with other stuff and a bit uninspired. Plus, I haven't been reading/watching much shounen stuff recently, and that's the genre i write fanfic for. Tried to keep current with MHA or Boruto but I keep losing interest -_-;.

Edit: I am guessing the next time i might feel like writing something might be after i play FFVII remake. Have wanted to write a FFVII fic for a long time.

Old Tifa or New Tifa?

After seeing the new trailer i am skeptical of there being a whole lot of difference. I like the new look better than AC though.

Edit: Though I am also guessing that Cloud doesn't find any "orthopedic underwear" in Shinra Mansion in the next part; young Tifa doesn't look like she needs it in this.

Or they might keep it, as long as it's not considered too much of a tasteless joke for modern games. She lived there after Cloud left too, I guess.

For this I would have to say Bra. I have nothing against jiggle physics, but I don't want anything to fuck this up for square and Sony has been on a censorship tear of late. Plus, I like things that make logical sense when the work is ostensibly serious.

That depends a lot on what i'd write about- which in turn depends a lot on what they showcase in the Remake. The new take on the honeybee inn looks very interesting. It is a known value in historical FFVII canon that Tifa wears serious face-punching girl underwear, though.

Well, once Remake comes out on PC someone will make a mod for that- and if the characters make cameos in any fighting games then jiggle physics are almost a certainty. However, if Tifa were trying any harder to get Cloud's attention in canon then i think he probably would have cracked before the first reactor bombing.

Doubt it, Cloud is obviously pining after Don Corneo.

Swap Don Corneo for Sephiroth or Zack and you have a solid 80% of all FFVII fanfic and doujinshi. I do wonder if they will still have a range of quality options for that part, though. Modeling multiple dresses and wigs for Cloud would be lots of work, but it would be so worth it.

Heh. Corneovision is amazing, though I never imagined any of the dresses with a boob window since that might be harder to pull off.

Edit: on a tangentially related note, outside of porn genderswap Cloud is super rare in fan works. I'd say weirdly so, but it think that urge might just be following the path of least resistance with just having Cloud crossdress or pine for guys all the time.

I've thought about a few ways to do it in FFVII without totally remaking the setting, either using the power of Jenova or just the power of socially awkward JRPG protagonists.
