Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
If you wish to change your username, please ask via conversation to tehelgee instead of asking via my profile. I'd like to not clutter it up with such requests.
Not really, no. There was no good reason for this but they did it anyway, and now a lot of good things are gone and I'm kind of terrified for QQ and other remaining havens.
The attacks on people who just want to enjoy themselves don't seem to ever stop.
Fuck, this is totally caught me flat-footed, didn't expect Pastebin of all sites to do this. Is there any chances of finding a backup of cached history or something? There was a ton of NSFW content I wish I could backup now.
And the guy who made the slinky was trying to develop stabilizers for instrumentation in ships sailing through choppy weather.
Sometimes the things a tool is ostensibly intended to be useful for, and the things they actually become useful for in practice, can become different things.
You can save what was lost, BUT you must have the correct address for the fic you want to read (exp. of link: pastebin.com/fnvuMCZA). Go to http://web.archive.org/ (waybackmachine) and if you are lucky and if the file was old enough, there will be a backup there. But for how long, who knows. I think some places can request backups to be deleted. So grab what you can if you can.
Key words. Busybody reporting. And random reasons. There was a pastebin folder I followed because it had a useful hotkey programming tutorial. Its dead now since things got hidden.
I mean it's still there, but how many people are just set and forget? Once they get marked private there's almost no chance the author will remember that they wrote so and so 6 years ago and make it public again.
