1. Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com. Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.

    1. That is not my take on a double posting.
    2. Double posting is not even in the rules. I checked, since I had never heard of it before.

    So you're wrong twice over.

Also, take it in a conversation next time. I'd rather not clutter my profile with this. And I'll ask to have it removed next time.

Finally, they were 2 different responses, to 2 different people. That they contined some of the same information does not make them a double post. I know that lately ppl have come to term posting twice in a row, regardless of how different their content, as double posting. But that's BS. It ruins the original meaning completely.

Then copy the contents of the second post, paste it into the first post and then delete the second post.

First up, I already did. As I initially intended to. 2ndly, how does that even follow?

In this case it fits, due to how similar the content was. But generally I go for different posts for different conversations. The only exception being when the author's ask me to do otherwise.

This is for many reasons, but the clearest one is: Say that someone likes my reply to one person, but not another reply to another. That leaves them no room to voice their approval for just one of them. While possibly even giving a rebuttal to the other. Hence I think it's wrong to do so. And in any of my own threads, I'd encourage seperate posts for seperate conversations.
