Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
If you wish to change your username, please ask via conversation to tehelgee instead of asking via my profile. I'd like to not clutter it up with such requests.
Thanks for the concern but I’ve been doing fine. I didn’t really expect to take a break at the time, it just sort of happened. Not only did life become excessively busy, writing wasn’t really enjoyable anymore.
At that point I was mostly continuing on a mix of routine, guilt at the idea of leaving people hanging, and spite from memories of stories I liked not being continued. Sadly that wasn’t really enough to continue. There are also a lot of problems with the stories themselves that I want to fix but don’t know whether I could stomach going and changing it all.
I thought about posting a notice or something a few times and was stalled by the thought of getting peoples hopes up for what amounts to a ‘sorry’. I’m not going to say sorry because most of the time when people say that it’s because they feel sorry for themselves but I will apologize for disappearing without a word.
