    It's not Y2K, it's 1 January 1900. Which is the earliest XenForo lets you set it.

    There's plenty of people on SV (and probably a few here) who put that date in themselves because they weren't comfortable handing out their real DOB (even to the admins) and either couldn't be bothered making up and remembering a believable fake or wanted it known that they weren't being honest.
