Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
If you wish to change your username, please ask via conversation to tehelgee instead of asking via my profile. I'd like to not clutter it up with such requests.

Just remember that the person who cares deeply about the motivation, the character who strives for it, doesn't exist.
It's a mask, a façade put up to amuse a being that cares little for anything.
I don't see much of a difference between 'become a real person' and 'consume food for energy and engage in evolutionary struggle' for a Raksha.
Though I guess that's more 'become a real creature'.
I wasn't asking what would be a good Raksha motivation, I was asking if the one I've been mentioning over and over again would make a good Raksha motivation.
The first part isn't exactly hard for you to do nor heroic, and can probably be discarded. What makes it worthy to be part of your Motivation? I see that you're trying to go for the "become/mimic a real boy" thing ... but how is food significant enough in that context to be called out?
The second part is a little weird. What stories does it help you (the player/GM) tell? It's a passive state of existence for things in the real world, not something they aim for (even if many Creation species were wrought rather than evolving). And what counts as "evolutionary struggle" for a raksha that you might engage in it? Evolution relies on reproduction and inheritance, which doesn't work for raksha.
Are you just trying to prove yourself personally the most adaptable? Do you start fiddling with others to examine evolutionary pressures, and does that count as "engaging" (arenas and rape-camps ahoy)? How much do humans even engage in evolutionary struggle, especially along any time span you could be expected to play?
I'll be honest, I read a guide to playing a Raksha that said 'destroy shaped existence' was as shitty a motivation for a Raksha as 'Eat food for energy and engage in evolutionary struggle'. The idea was that a Raksha might, due to their incredibly sketchy comprehension of shaped existence, think that was actually a conscious goal humans had.
