    We could, but we know what the rule is for, the user base knows what the rule is for, and simpler rules match our moderation style better than having them be bulletproof in the minutia.

    Just had a fridge-thought -- I would suggest that you add a "currently copyrighted" limitation so translations of works that are not under copyright would be allowed. The alternative is to hunt down all the bible quotes, or force them to be posted in the original hebrew.

    The problem in that thread was people making personal attacks on other users, ignoring mod warnings and the topic being relevant to modern politics. The forum itself does not care for advocating a political stance, since QQ is for porn.
