Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.

Looking in on Starlight Glimmer, eh? Her little 'crusade' against Cutie Mark fetishism/enslavement amongst ponykind. Wonder what progress she's made into removing Equestria's reliance on them...
Perhaps one thing Starlight can work on is reproducing the spell effect which lets her manipulate...
Threadmarks: Interlude: Blue on Blue (The Czechoslovak civil war)
An excerpt from the Wikipedia article on the Czechoslovak revolt in Siberia:
By early 1918, the Czechoslovak Legion — once a coherent, if weary, fighting force — had become scattered across the immensity of Russia. Roughly 40,000 men remained under arms, but divided into four major...
Oh man, I swear I was just talking about old bad fanfiction when I wrote this, though a lot does still fit. Peter isn't left completely powerless, which was what I was thinking about when it comes to bad tropes. But... the narrative does almost make him feel like that. I can see what they went...
"Some people seem to think reading is something you do with your mouth."
-Me, after my boss apparently misread a message from me for the third time.
Not responding this time, as trying to explain the last two just made him fly into a rage over what he thought he read in the first place.

One subtle theory I have for RWBY is about why STRQ built their home in the middle of the woods on Patch.
In a world where almost everyone lives in towns and cities with defences and huntsmen and guards and everything, they live outside of that. And sure...
If it had been the Hawk, Cam would've recognised it instantly.
Maul is fun to write here as he's not what he was in TPM, nor how he became in TCW.
TBF, by the time of the war, the Sith Empire had its HQ on Korriban, with the routes to world like Ziost and Dromond Kaas heavily restricted. While...
Ruby loves her family. Even when it's hard to love them.
Beacon was on break for a little bit while repairs were being made to a few classrooms (one of ports Grimm got loose and hit the dust storage) so Ruby was going to visit her uncle.

Naruto and Ichigo being mentors to Sun and Jaune and going though there entire series in under a month for the duo sounds Epic
I think Ichigo some how getting Jaune haunted by Canon RK who spells out just how STUPID the Heroes side of Adults is and is constantly trying to take over his body...
Thank you, corrected.
No, in my timeline it was the Reach's attempts to generate populations that reliably generated individuals with specific superpowers than caused that.
My dad -prior to his retirement- was a college biology teacher. UK college, so mostly 17-18 year olds. He didn't do a...
‘surprise’
Fairly interesting chapter. I like this sort of magical research or whatever you’d call it, though I continue to not have huge interest in Grayven’s interactions with ponies more generally.
One of Grayven’s ‘not redeemed but re-aimed’ villain projects. Not something he puts anything like as much effort into as Illustrious but his successes do tend to be more cute.
And to the surprise of no one (sane) ripping out a chunk of someone’s fundamental nature has some knock-on effects.
Oh...

"Ah, Grayven?" Starlight looks up at me in surprise as I trot into her office. "I didn't know you were visiting today?" She smiles awkwardly, but less awkwardly than she used to so I'm calling that progress. "Is this a surprise inspection?"
"Oh, no, I just…"...
