For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.

A Foreword.
The description of this story is the original sales pitch for Mechwarrior: Periphery Lord Quest, and the initial summary of its plot. It has since grown far from that premise, but the same characters at the beginning continue to grow and develop as people and leaders to this day on...
On anime: I haven't watched that many, aside from the mainstream stuff. DBZ was big a thing in the early 2000s in my country. That was a cool romp, ngl - until it absolutely jumped the shark.
"The subtle breeze of conformity slowly extinguishes independent thought."
"Small minds condemn anything they fail to comprehend."
"A large conforming mass can no more easily produce one original thought than five thousand fornicating sheep produce one wolf."

I also agree that LoGH is kinda the peak of what battles in the void of space could be, every other medium falls so short in that aspect it's so disappointing.
What I wouldn't give to have Reinhard or Yang expy's in a potential B5 or Battlestar: Galactica crossover.
I was an avid anime fan until I watched LoGH. After that, I just couldn't watch any anime at all, every show suddenly felt so hollow and pointless and just cringeworthy in general. Made me stop watching other anime for years after seeing the show for the first time.
>if only Kircheis were here
Absolutely. I only wish the novels the OVAs are based on weren't so hard to come by; it's really a shame. LoGH delivers in a way most other space operas don't. Watching Star Wars and some parts of DS9 or B5 are a massive downgrade, after a LoGH binge.
Over the years I've watched the entire original series, movies and gaiden series included, like 3 times already. I think it's pretty much the best anime ever to be made, and it's up there in the 'best thing ever' category.
That's always the trouble, isn't it? Centralize too much, you get tyranny. Decentralize too much, you get chaos. Like the scene at the end of Demolition Man goes...
(To the gestapo bigwig): "You could get a little dirtier"
(To the sewer-dwelling rebel leader): "You, a lot cleaner"
"Somewhere in...
They should reconsider their stance on that one. I mean, if the big payment processing oligopol decides to cut Valve off, what can they do about it, without any contigencies? Furthermore, if they're so concerned about scams, they should create their own system, including a bank. The biggest...
Extras: Experimental Properties of Aetherium: A π-Anchoring Mineral Enabling Hyperspace Modulation
Author: [Redacted]
Abstract
We present the first comprehensive report on Aetherium, a newly identified mineral with anomalous effects on local geometry. Field and laboratory observations confirm that Aetherium interacts directly with the geometric constant π, anchoring its value within...
Extras: π-Modulated Hyperspace: A Speculative Framework for Dimensional Drift and Superluminal Travel
Author: [Redacted]
Abstract
We present a speculative framework for faster-than-light (FTL) travel and cosmology based on modulation of the mathematical constant π. Traditionally defined as the ratio of circumference to diameter in Euclidean space, π also emerges as a measure of dimensional...
I could be wrong but don't you update them so that each tier is a chapter further ahead? You update everything else at the same time, like the new public chapter of The Good Life and Legends Never Die were updated at the same time the Tipper tier Patreon did. Everything else including the stuff...
