Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.
If you want to get reductive about it, sure you can do that. But why not just have the whole fic be a 5 paragraph essay completely reduced like the grizzle at the bottom of a pan?
And what to show? The invention of a particle beam precludes advances in heat management, lenses, maybe minerals...
A/N: As always, a huge thank you to those helping with lore and planning for this and my other stories.
And again, this chapter was released to those of sufficient rank on the story's Discord (it pays to talk) about a month ago. For those who support my writing, then it was released between 2...
I love how Mira has a complex mix of friendly concern, professional obligation, and intellectual curiosity going on. It's nice to enjoy a character that isn't one-note.
Our main character and the topic of her concern also continues to impress and entertain.
Chiming in with others, I love...
Hey @WrandmWaffles, Are you going with the fan interpretation of Umamusame height being based on IRL horse heights in this story? If you don't know what I am talking about, here is an example of Horse sized Umamusame, another example, and one more.
Also, is Susugi a draft-uma or racing-uma...
>Hiromi didn't add a "Signer of this contract is not allowed to murder everyone else that signed the contract to escape it" clause on purpose
>Can't be locked into an unfair contract if the other side no longer exists
So happy to see even more of this! The Saunders aspect is interesting, and I think its neat to see more people building on top of what she has brought to the table.
So will they be able to use the jump-3 drive along with that double-jump technique to go beyond jump-3, for ships that carry a double load of fuel?
I imagine an interstellar civilization with all 3 of these things compared to just jump-2 and nothing else would be almost night and day.
Waiting at jump 3 for the next war is probably sensible, but depending on how the fourth war goes they might urgently need further technological improvements before the fifth war starts.
Hope we can see more of the collaboration with Dr. Saunders, the interactions of two geniuses like that bouncing off each other seems like it would be fun to watch.
Seeming to roll out jump-3 across the whole fleet with a firmware update would be a huge surprise to everyone not cleared for that...
Oddly enough, I'm surprised that Sophia didn't feel more relieved that another made a breakthrough. It'd show her that the fate of her home doesn't only lie with her. It'd also show her that even if she has to hold back her tech, there might be someone that'd make the breakthrough for her, and...
