Yeah, if anyone were to make a connection like that it would be Akeno. And she would do it just to get a rise out of Issei and Rias. And whoever else might be around.

 

Sex is actually one of the traditional ways to use that charm.

But no, I doubt that she was thinking that. Firstly, she knows him well enough to know he's not interested in men. Secondly, she knows full well that Ise could pull someone a hell of a lot better than Riser.

 

Ravel for second Bishop, Eiko as our queen? Rias defeats the purpose, she will be allied to us via marriage.

 

Eiko isn't a close combat specialist so Queen would be wasted on her I would think, if anything I'd make her a pawn, as she has great mobility so she'd be able to promote fairly easy

 

Eiko's combat assets are very marginal martial arts, pretty good archery, and the fact that she's a living flamethrower. Generally she sticks to that last one. Bishop.

 

Here's a thought I had, and am now wondering if we could make it possible here.

First, and I realize that this has probably come up earlier at some point but I can't remember reading it, I wonder if Issei's Exaltation has an accompanying Lunar Mate that might have made it to this Creation, possibly at the same time as his own with it possibly waiting to awaken until he comes into contact with it. If so, than I propose this.

Irina, in cannon, is kind of a useless character in my opinion, despite being the Childhood Friend and (originally) an Excalibur Wielder when she shows up. Add to that her inability to (physically) join Issei's Harem without Falling, and I kind of pity her. So, my thought is why don't we make her Issei's Lunar Mate? That would give her all sorts of interesting potential to add to the story without adding yet another character, don't you think? Particularly if her mutations make her part-Bird, possibly giving her the Angel-like Wings she wants, without making her an eternal virgin.

I also wonder about the Holy Sword that her father had apparently wielded and what might have happened to it, but that's something of an afterthought at this point.

Well, yes. He's a Twilight. Their standard archetypes in a group are Mad Scientist, Strange Mystic or Terrifying Scholar.

 

Or since they're, you know, Solars, they end up all three. Although more in that they have one main with flavors of the other two popping up fairly often.

 

issei, you're a Solar. if you don't have 15 queens who are also all dragons and Solar 1/2 castes.

Well, Issei doesn't 'have' to base his version of the Evil Pieces around Chess.

He could use Shogi mixed with Chess. That would net him an extra seven pieces.

Maybe create Shogi bonus pieces he could link to Rias's King so she can Resurrect seven more people, though not sure how it would work with rating games.

Should we go through Training from Hell to try and raise our Mental Attributes or Melee skills when we have the down time?

 

Melee we have 2 good trainers, Bright and one of the Masters from Rozenpaku, as for stat training, may want to wait until the Manse is online as it has a minor *one room at a time* time chamber effect on it that will speed up training, a lot

I wouldn't say no to training up Melee however, as that means we can teach Kiba and Ruby with our custom charm quickly

 

I'd like to get Heavenly Guardian Defense, as we could use it with both Boosted Gear, and our new sword.

Got the Essence for it, just need the Melee, and the prereq charms.

 

the Fist of the Dawnstar Perfect Parry Charm is better for the most part, as it can parry a flurry, and we already have a perfect soak charm, so honestly our next perfect should probably be a dodge charm

 

Do we even 'have' the Fist of the Daystar perfect parry?

If we do, I withdraw the suggestion.

 

no we don't but we have all the abilities needed to buy it, to get it we would need to buy Solar Counter Attack, which is a useful charm, for 8xp, and then Immortal Blade Deflecting Palm, for another 8xp, for a total of 16xp

to get the Melee perfect Parry we would need to spend, lets see
8 xp and 12 days (3 hours per day) to train Melee to 4
10 xp and 2 days to learn Dipping Swallow Defence
10xp and 3 days to learn Bulwulk Stance
and finally 10xp and 4 days to learn Heavenly Guardian Defense

for a total of 38 xp and 21 training days instead of 16xp and 8 days

 

I agree we should get it, but we should 'also' get HGD, so as we can use it with our new sword.

However, probably can wait a while on it, once we have the MA Perfect Parry.

Plus, we can give both a different Flaw of Invulnerability, in case we trigger one or the other's Flaw.

Why would we need it for the Vali fight?

I'd think Divide would count as a Crippling rather than Shaping attack

Though some Dodge or Parry charms should be gained prior to that, as our Resistance defense, even as a perfect, won't mean anything to Divide.

Also, would Wyld Shaping work in the Dimensional Gap, or would the Gap be more like Elsewhere?

 

Why? If it's a shaping attack (It's almost certainly a shaping attack) then we're already immune to it. Integrity Protecting Prana: That's what it's for people.

 

I'm not sure it's 'definitely' a Shaping attack, as I heard of Abyssal attacks that effect things like Virtues but aren't Shaping, and I'd think Divide would be similar.

Also, yeah, that's the other reason I was going 'why would we need it?'

Though the one that divides the size of things would probably be Shaping.

 

I think Divide in itself is a Crippling attack, while Half Dimension is a Shaping attack...
