An Noobie's First Ideas, Stories and Discussions Thread....

Hello folks, this will be my first time on this site here to put my ideas in here to be discussed and explore here, as you can see I am truly a noob here and don't know what I'm doing and will be learning the hard way on here this all runs, so bear with me on this and hope you help me on my "shitty" ideas here to explore for future endeavors (like writing for one and improvement on it) on this site...

Now no further ado here's my first idea/snippet that's been bugging me for a long time now, a Star Wars fanfic (I know, how unoriginal) but not just any fanfic, this one has an idea that's been in my head for a long time now (and especially since been reading fanfics in star wars, especially the self inserts) that are unusual before, like the self inserts on star wars where the MC is inserted as a droid, with the one perhaps that started it all is the spacebattles's Roger Roger fanfic that was on perhaps permanent hiatus;

It will be like that in its spirit, especially hopefully you guys here will join me on this since this one is been bugging me for a long time now, ever since watching and learning from the Star Wars Legends Continuity here, specifically being first exposure of it all is from the force unleashed games (played the first one, watched on youtube on the sequel) and that the legends continuity property that sticks to me it the KOTOR (and SWTOR) games, especially KOTOR 2, specifically with Kreia here.

The character here for me is the most standout of the trio (the other 2 being Meetra Surik and Revan) in what they all represented in regards to the overall setting itself and the themes, ideas and concepts said characters embodied both in-universe and especially outside of it here, with youtube videos here especially on Kreia here in exploring her character here and the real life inspirations on it here in the writing and the over plot of the game itself, here's the videos that explored the character for me here;

What is a Jedi Without the Force?

(Especially on this video here that crystalized and gave me these ideas and gave me the question for this first post that you see today here to be explored, especially when like many of the star wars fans here especially when watching the movies I too wished i was a jedi or rather be born a force user and not just the character like han solo)


These videos and countless more from youtube have showed me and put this simple idea in my kind for a long time now and after reading a small yet substantial fanfic about star wars (the most recent ones being self inserts of characters unto trade confederate droids set on the OG trilogy (and andor series) era here) that gave me the drive to write and put this unto the thread with a single question,

What if Kreia's overall philosophy in regards to the force itself survives but also gave birth a world based from and about upon its overall foundations?,


Like just like in our real life enlightenment movement that came from the Renaissance (or part of it, correct me on this if I'm wrong about it) that allowed the foundations of the scientific revolution to the industrial and political revolutions and enlightenment itself to the social revolutions and countless more that laid the foundations to our modern world here, but in a star wars context...

Like in my head here, with Kreia's overall thesis in regards to the force lead the foundations here that gave birth to countless others like it, akin to the schisms like for religion it was the protestant movements in europe in response to the stranglehold of the catholic and by lesser extention orthodox christianity, same thing with muslim and jewish ones, as well as social ones with the lakes of karl marx and his ideaology here and those before him like liberalism of proudhon to thomas paine to philosophy especially with both eastern philosophies (with confucius, lao tzu and sun tzu) and western philosophy (with socrates, aristotle and more) that also through them all carve and made the foundations for future philosophies and methods to be born, from hegel to nietzsche, to newton to einstein and countless more....


In my idea and perhaps to elaborate on the answer and question here is that what if Kreia's philosphy not just survives but give's birth a new and alters the trajecties of the path of the galacxy going forward after the era, age and epoch of the old republic has passed, where in here the galaxy here turns on not just the jedi and the sith but also on the force itself, especially on its will in various ways by the ordinary people in this galaxy that they're living in with, from trying to demystify it, measure it to even others trying to democritize it into reducing it as a resource to exploit and/or measure like water or gravity, that includes synthetic midichlorians and esoteric tech and ideas that the jedi and sith have kept from the public eye;

Exemplified and explored from this comic series from the disney canon with marvel, and with synthetic midichlorians here and for your infomations i haven't read this comic yet except in snippets and articles about it here

Where part of that same idea here is the concept of droid force users, that goes beyond the joke concept, to the plot of KOTOR 2 itself with Kreia's plan in "killing" the force itself and her failure to it and especially with the very existance and state of Meetra Surik herself as a "Wound in the Force" and others like her in this state like Darth Nihilus (being a literal void that feeds to survive from other living beings here, especially with other force users) and even the likes of Valkorion/Tenebrae as an immortal sith emperor here...

And where my imagination goes on to this by this line of an idea here is that like an altered version of the prequels era here where the jedi here is forced to constantly deal and reckon with their histories being public for a long time and a republic and especially the general public that is more educated on the matters and regards on the force (including the prophecy that anikin is born into here) with tech that allows to measure midichlorians like qui gon jin uses in the phantom menace being a galactic epublican tech, droids being, made, built to use and access the force itself or somehow spontaneuosly demonstrated the ability and connection to the force itself (like mutants in the marvel comics x men by trauma or puberty) to anti-force tech and methods here being used extensively by the entirety of the galaxy, like the ysalamiri lizards to the cortosis metal that is a resistant to blaster and crucially lightsabers...

Against jedi, sith and other independent force users like the dathomir witches, these things in both legends and disney canon here are the general public's in-universe ways in protecting themselves from all force users, while also having the general knowledge and education in dealing said force users and perhaps inventing new and different ones as well like a sort of tech that can demonstrate and/or showcase the same effects as the ysalamiri lizard's properties in force nullification or force techniques to suppress one's force signature, to null blades void stones/crystals to even the likes of the yuuzhan vhong....


which for me give me also snippets and dieas based and around this general idea thanks to Kreia herself and what she represented in Star Wars, like on the top of my head here's some snippets and thanks to Star Wars Visions as one of the key inspirations for putting it here:

A droid that was awoken or made with the access to the force itself and that its very existance here in finding its purpose from either the jedi or the sith and how both of those said organizations in how to deal with this...

Same thing as the previous one but in here instead is a ordinary person who wanted to join the jedi (or wanted power like the sith), but was rejected/can't and instead it was the person's sibling or friend that got in due to said friend is born a force user and said person has managed to become a force user/be able to access and use the force and how either the jedi or the sith into dealing with this, let alone the generalmpublic and especially a republic that has the tech and political will for this to be public (analogous perhaps to trans people and gender reaffirming care/transition) as to how both jedi and sith orders in dealing with it...

A version of the jedi order (perhaps set in a prequel era) where they're more scrutinized and even hated thanks to the galactic history on them being public, the tech and more where that have to justify to even regulate and explain themselves to a public that tolerates both jedi and especially sith (them being a more sanitized palpable version) philosophies here and views the force in various ways but now never in a mystified manner or rather a secular one or in some cases in a sort of a exploitable resource to use and profit (or even attempted to tame, "kill" or "destroy")...

A version of said prequel era where the prophecy is of public knowledge education and record that when anikin is born and demonstrated that he is said chosen one, the public and especially the jedi order has to deal with scrutiny on him, some would see his existance as a threat/omen for new wars, the very force itself demonstrating its power onto the galaxy with it "fathering" a slave woman, to worship, fear or apprehension; like others would compare anikin here to revan, meetra and kreia, others will try to exploit him to even those who will try to kill him (basically akin to the question what if jesus came back here today or rather what if the era on which jesus or buddha was born and lived by set in a modern day in interpretation here)...

A self insert or original character in this star wars setting here that wants to continue or finish what kreia's work have started, in "killing" the force itself, more specifically lobotomizing it's "will" as it will try and will defend itself for it's survival like any living thing/entity, basically killing god and what ahppens if one succeeded in killing god, let alone the rest of the world and the general public's reactions, responses, perspectives, views and more knowing or learning about it, like in the avatar press studio's comic, god is dead and image comic's we only find them when they're dead...
