Another Minor Convicted under Child Porn Laws

This absurdity is from today:

I've seen this reported before, but never collected the incidents in one place. Going forward I'll put what I run across here. Everyone else is welcome to contribute links to reports of this stuff.

 

Welcome to the side of American law enforcement that ignores common sense, or more exactly old people finding ways to fuck up younger generations, just for many petty reasons.

 

Mhm, another case of the law not truly being applied.

So the main girl (reffered from here on as M) made child pornography*, starring herself, this is illegal.
M sent this porn to another girl and a guy (referred to as G and D). Now the group then fell apart and D then reported M to the school resource officer (aka the law), now D apparently had a copy of the video to show the police (he also shared it around***).
Now according to G, D was bragging about putting M in jail with the video...which he had a private copy of. The court then only had M brought up to face charges.
so in short M should get hit with creation and distribution of cp and D should be hit with possession and distribution.

So to summarize my thoughts,the people in charge of bringing people to court fucked up, M committed a felony, and so did D(although he did get charged which is BS).

*to be clear this isn't M rubbing one out, she is actually having (oral)sex in the video at **16.
**which while at the age of consent where she is, federal law states you have to be 18 to be in pornographic material.
***while i don't know who shared it, G testified under other that D was bragging about putting M in jail for it. He also had the only mentioned private copy, and is apparently an asshole.
