Chapter 1​

Hell. I've woken up in hell. That's the only possible explanation for this cosmic fuck up. MY head is pounding, I feel like someone took my normal body and tied it into a croissant. Why you may ask? Well, that might have to do with the fact that I'm now Quasi-fucking-modo, the hunchback of Notre Dame. I don't even know how I got here, no ROB, no dying, no accidental deal with otherworldly power, just one going to bed one night, then waking up as the ugliest man in all of Paris. Just turned 19 Quasimodo was capable of ringing every bell in Notre Dame, fucking swole guy i swear. I could live with being ugly, I could even live with the deformity, but this poor kid had been molded by his "master" to be basically his little slave.

"Fuck" I whispered.

My head was pounding, It felt like someone tried to shove a melon into my now misshapen gourd. The world was spinning, I felt like I was going to vomit, it was awful. Then Quasimodo's memories started streaming in, brief flashes of his mother, the escape from Frollo, his childhood learning to read and write Latin from the Archdeacon, the "lessons" with Judge Frollo, and the first time he rang the bells. These among many other memories flew through his near broken mind.

"Disney really cleaned up this kid's life." I sighed.

Quasimodo was mad, that was the only explanation. The isolation had caused him to go slightly insane. There were brief glimpses of it in the Disney movie, him talking to statues, and imagining elaborate scenes in his squalid tower. For a second I thought Quasimodo's madness would consume me as well. It was a near thing, but I managed to push through. Well mostly, the world flashed black for a second and I thought I could see the silhouettes of the people of Paris in reds and blues for a second, before my vision flashed back to normal. I looked down at my bear-paw like hands in despair, both for my life, and the life I had just had thrust upon me. If anyone tells you later that I wept like a baby, they are wrong. I didn't break down into a sobbing mess in that bell tower. I swear it.

"Why? Why me? Why did this have to happen to me?" I sobbed. "What am I supposed to do? How… How am I gonna make it? Please anyone… please i beg you" my voice cracked.

"The Chaos Gacha?" I sniffled in shock. Isn't that from that one of those fanfiction plot fillers made to help starting writers? I'm not in a poorly written fanfiction am I? Nah, couldn't be me. This has to be some sort of miracle instead.

"Ok" I choked. "If it helps it helps… I guess. For Quasimodo, optimistic guy that he was, I'll take this miracle and make a life he would be proud of."
I rolled the three Bronze Tickets first. A large wheel popped in front of me and started spinning frantically.

Allows you to decrease the temperature of objects through touch. Does not decrease it particularly fast and it's certainly not enough to freeze then, but it will keep your drink or ice cream cool.​

I stare shocked at how atrocious my luck has to be. Then it hits me, PAIN! Pain like I haven't felt before in my entire life. It feels like someone is taking a power drill to my face. CRACK!!! My jaw splinters under the assault, my few teeth popping out of my head onto the floor.

"Jesus, Mary and Joseph!" I exclaim.

New teeth then start emerging from my bloody gums. It almost feels like a machine gun is going off in my mouth. Rattattattat!!!!

"Owwwwww" I moaned, massaging my sore jaw.

A full head of teeth felt both so right and so wrong right now. Mine and Quasimodo's memories conflicted on this point. But right now I didn't care, and neither did his remnants, we were slightly less mishappen (a monster) we were one step closer to being normal. I was one step closer to being back to normal. I was giddy, maybe with enough time I could become handsome, go out into the city and be loved, find love, be a hero. Maybe I could do this. Maybe I could be the man Quasimodo always wanted to be, maybe I could get the girl. I had a year to prepare after all.

Soon, the light of the sun began to peak over the horizon, and I had a job to do. Well Quasimodo had a job to do, I was just picking up where he had left off. I began my ascent to the bell tower wearing a subdued grin.

"I can make this Disney hellhole work. I will be the bellringer, I will make my own legend, I will fight!" I whisper shouted.

"Haha" I laughed, joy bubbling in the back of my throat. This wouldn't be so bad I thought as I reached the first set of ropes.

"Come one beautiful let's hear you ladies sing" gripping the rope hard just as morning light reached me. Ding Dong DING DING DING DONG DONG DING DONG DONG DONG BING BONG BING BONG. The bells sang announcing dawn to the city of Paris, waking the world. The ladies of the belltower were singing praises of God to the world, and while I didn't know any religious songs off the top of my head I felt like singing with them.

CHAPTER 2​

The life of a bellringer was one of habit. Every hour on the hour I ring the bells to signify the passing of the day. I also have to ring the bell for special events such as the morning and evening masses. It's both mind numbing and relaxing to know my whole day is scheduled down to the last minute, it gives you time to reflect on the important things, like how I died, how I am in late 15th century France, how I have no one to talk to at all, how I never know when Judge Frollo will show up. You know the important things.

As the day winds by I sit on the edge of one of the balconies staring out into the city drinking a cool water, Thanks [Cool]. I keep trying desperately to scrounge up the memory of a movie I watched twenty years ago to maybe have some form of idea what's coming for me. All I can really remember is that Frollo is the bad guy, there is a Captain named Phoebe or something, Esmeralda is unfairly hot (which drives Frollo off the deep end), and that eventually Frollo dies to his own pride and spite. That's it. Quasimodo's memories fill in some gaps, like when the Festival of Fools is supposed to happen, but they really don't help much. He had been locked in here for nineteen years, and had little to no information about the outside world, except for the lies fed to him by Frollo.

Maybe my Rolls on the Chaos Gacha could have helped, but they are basically trash, my luck has always been bad, but for me to get [Blood Golem] in one of the most highly religious periods of time is just disastrously bad luck. Sure the golem's strength is scaled based on how strong I am, and I am built like a brick shithouse, but even using them will get me burned at the stake. So for now I keep [Cool] in my one Ability Slot. Looking out into the city my heart clenches as I see people passing by me below, their faces carved into my memory, their lives into my soul. Quasimodo knew some of them better than they know each other. If I get bored up here I may add them to his diorama of Paris. He would sit here alone and carve the people and places he wished to see, that we wished to see, that I wished to see.

"God this is getting confusing." I sigh.

It's beginning to be hard to tell if I'm becoming Quasimodo or if he's becoming me, or maybe something in between. I don't know. Ugh. Maybe I should take my mind off of it, pull from the Chaos Gacha? I still have a Silver Familiar Ticket, a Bronze Skill Ticket, and a Bronze Random. Maybe one of those will help.

What the actual shit. How? How is my luck this bad? Fuck fuck fuck fuckity fuck. [Literacy]? I mean sure we are starting the Renaissance soon, but most people can't read and there aren't that many books. I can already read English and Latin. One from my past life and the other from the Archdeacon. I kinda even know the French alphabet from Frollo's A is for Abomination lessons. The dread helm… Looking at it now… I think my face might be more intimidating. Like holy shit I am Ugly. You need a capital U for how scary looking I am. Last but certainly not least, my new familiar I can't really take her anywhere, but maybe she will be someone to talk to. Actually Yeah! I have a friend now! Summoning her was a sinch, and she was beautiful. She came up to just above my waist and must have weighed about five hundred pounds, and that coat was a gleaming frost white. I already loved her.

"Hey girl, I guess I'm your new master," I said gently. "We are gonna be the best of friends you and I."

My girl just chuffs at me in acknowledgment.

"We gotta find a name for you, something that lives up to your beauty" I exclaim. She just lays down and looks up at me expectantly. "Now let's see maybe something Romani? Oh I have one Selina? Or maybe something exotic like Sasha? What do you think, girl?" I question.

"Growl."

Right, she can't speak English. Ok.

"Ok girl let's try this instead. Left hand for Selina, right hand for Sasha. Just stay laying down for a new set. Ok? Ok" I say as I lift both my hands up so she can choose. Slowly standing on her feet, she saunters over to my right hand.

"Ok, Sasha it is! And what a pretty name it is too!" I simper while rubbing her all over. "I know you're trapped in here like me Sasha, but one day we will get out of here. Soon" I say as we gaze out into the fading sunset. Maybe soon I will get one day out there.

Despite him masking himself in the festival of Fools with his Gacha helmet for Esmeralda and golden knight . At least Quasimodo SI got languages down from his recent gacha and snow tiger companion, but what about the iconic talking Gargoyles trio.?
I haven't seen a Disney SI with Iconic Frodo before, I've seen Disney fics but rarely finished and the number I count with my finger are in the single digits.
