Dragonborn Fanfic - Skyrim/Elder Scrolls

I love the idea of a descendant of heroes actively avoiding becoming like his fore-bearers, only to do exactly as they have done without meaning to.

 

Thank you! It's basically something I came up with to justify why the player character starts out so ignorant and ill-trained at the beginning of the game, lol.

 

My justification was that our characters are all SI's.

How else do we manage to bullshit our way into legendary fights and win without any actual training. In Skyrim, I once did a speedrun using no armor and a single iron dagger. I got all the way to Alduin using stealth and a dagger.

How the fuck do we explain that in a realistic manner?

 

LOL That is awesome. In this case, however, Day isn't a true SI. I do often imagine myself in his shoes, but he's not really modeled after me.

LOL That was pretty much my thought xD I'm a bit rusty on the more esoteric Elder Scrolls lore, but stuff like that WAS in fact running through my head when I wrote some of these blurbs. Thanks for commenting
