    On Spacebattles, threads in the Creative Writing section equivalent display the word count of the story(Threadmarks only? OP posts only? I do not know.).

    We have something similar when we are searching, but it is not displayed when browsing a forum. I would like to ask for this feature to be added, but I'm not sure what I need to do to make this a more viable request. I'm kind of new.

    I'd like for Threadmarked posts total wordcount to be displayed along with replies and views when browsing, underneath the title of the thread. Do I need to find other likeminded people who want this?

    It's a Xenforo addon and is more of a thing for tehelgee and alethiophile to decide on.

    I'm currently not on forum-work mode, but when I am I'll go poke through Xon's addons again and see if that's available.

    All the fic-specific functionality that's appeared on SB and SV over the past few years has been Xon's work; he's a professional webdev (I think), and outright creates new functions for the forum software to include this. I don't have the free time or the platform expertise to duplicate this, so we only get those functions when Xon publishes them publicly (sometimes for pay).

    Well, if I'm the only one who wants it you don't have to worry as I'm not actually picky. I complained on my status and was linked to the suggestions forum so I felt obligated to make the suggestion. Thank you very much for considering it.
