Email registration

    I am in contact with some people on SpaceBattles that want to come playing with us on this forum, but so far the email register link did not come in their box.

    He posted that message last Thursday.

    He asked me today.

    Oddly, this seems to be happening for a few people. I'd ask them to tell me what their E-mail provider is, and to check their spam. For now, ask them to PM me over on Spacebattles with their QQ username and I'll manually add their accounts.

    I'll add these two now, assuming their usernames are the same.

    Hello Moderati, Master Basher here. Just to A: Thank you for manually fixing this issue, and B: To highlight what (possibly) went wrong on my end.

    I did my Register, faithfully typed in the E-Mail (no typos!) even clicked Register again when the E-Mail didn't came after X amount of Hours, but the automatic E-Mail that should provide the activation link... Never came. I've even checked my Spam/Junk folder! But after so long, it refused to magic itself into existence.

    The weird thing however is after you've manually Activated my account, I got an E-Mail saying "Welcome to Questionable Questing". So chances are it's the Automatic Service which might be a 'little' bit buggy.

    Now that I've logged the 'technical difficulties' on my end, I can resume checking out the forum as a New Member. :)

    The problem was my fault.

    I changed an email setting by accident, which caused the email code to fuck up. I didn't notice, either, the 7500 error messages in the error log cause I had gotten the forum to the point of not generating error messages except for miss-typed passwords, and thus hadn't bothered to check.

    I manually tested the fix by registering a junk account, and got the email, so it's all working now. So, anyone that you know of that tried to register and didn't get an email, let em know that I had the system resend the emails.

    I tried months ago to get my account confirmed but I never got the promised confirmation E-mail... After this I changed my E-mail to gmx.net (and about 5 or 6 others E-mail providers before that just trying to get an E-mail)
    Now I tried to get this verification via a bug report Link right by the helpful info squares neighbouring the button to resend the confirmation E-mail if your account is unverified...
    I was just looking if anyone answered my query but all I got was that I am not allowed to view that post anymore... is this a prank? Or did I do something wrong?

    Edit: Okay nevermind I tried to use a yahoo mail and got the E-mail I am finally verificated :)
