Hello there all! I'm starting up a new thread for a commission that I've been working on for quite some time now, by a fellow who only wants to go as "Inzomniac". Given the planned length for this one I figured it'd be best for it to have its own thread seperate from my own Commissions Thread. So here's the very start of Hot-Blooded Springs!

Now for Chapter 1: The First Day

"Oh, this place really is beautiful!" Rebecca commented in an awed tone as she looked at the gorgeous natural mountainside they were driving through. The large sloping hills dotted with trees that swayed gently with the wind blowing through the valleys between them created a rather lush view for the family. "It's like the total opposite of the fields at home!"

"Scott, do you remember the name of the inn? It's not coming to me," Mary asked her husband after tearing her own gaze away from the steep mountainside.

"I think it was, uh…" Scott started to say, trailing off as he struggled to recall it, his focus having been fully on navigating the winding path. "I don't remember what the local name is, but I remember seeing it as the Sapphire Lotus Inn."

"Oh hey, I think we're here," Mark pointed out as the road they were on came to a stop at a small, empty dirt lot at the base of the mountaintop. Deciding that this was where their destination was, the Hayes' car pulled into one of the many open spots and the doors opened to let them all out.

Scott stepped out of the car first, stretching his arms above his head after hours of driving. He was a tall and well-built man who was just getting into his forties and had a short patch of blonde hair sitting atop his head. He wore a pair of khaki shorts and a white button-up shirt that let his rather defined arms and legs be shown to the world.

Mary followed right behind him, looking through her phone to be sure that they hadn't taken a wrong turn somewhere. She was a slim woman who was only a few years from hitting forty herself. Standing just half a head shorter than her husband, she had long black hair that framed her head and fell down her back in luscious waves. A modest light blue blouse and jeans covered her form, though given her wide hips curving into a respectably sized butt and swelling, motherly breasts that would both be more than a handful for any man, her shape still showed through the clothes' coverage.

Mark exited next, leaning against the car to help pop his back. He was a young man that was less than a year away from being a full adult himself. He stood almost as tall as his father Scott by just a couple of inches, with shaggy blonde hair the same color as his father's sitting on his head, the beginnings of bangs framing his face but nonetheless sitting above his ears. He wore a pair of jeans and a black t-shirt that framed his lightly muscled frame, his arms showing hints of definition of the muscle beneath.

Rebecca was the last one to get out, slowly spinning on her feet as she took in the mountains around her without glass in front of her. She was a young woman born a year after her brother Mark, with long black hair atop her head the same color as her mother's, pulled into a low ponytail that traveled the length of her back in a straight drop. Her body was covered up by a pink tank top and black skirt that showed her body to be slimmer than even her mother's, though there was a hint of definition to her form that was all her own.

As they all stretched and recovered from the long ride over, they quickly noticed that they weren't alone.

On a simple wooden bench sat a lone woman wearing a pink robe, parted in the middle to show off a similarly pink shirt and a long skirt that traveled down to her ankles. Red flowers were patterned across the cloth, ones that Rebecca recognized to be cherry blossoms, with a large white sash tied around her waist to complete it.

She looked to be a young adult with fiery orange hair that was entwined into twin tails coming from the upper back on either side of her head, which themselves ended in silvery tips.

As she settled her eyes on them, a split second's surprise flitted across her fine features; but it passed quickly enough that the Hayes didn't notice as she stood.

"Hello, honored guests," The woman greeted with a silky voice, dipping into a bow low enough that Mark was able to get a hint of a view down her robe, flustering the young man.

The woman didn't acknowledge this as she raised her head and continued on. "Welcome to Japan, and to the Sapphire Lotus Inn. I presume that you are the winners of our contest?"

"Yes, that's right, I won the raffle for it and this is my family, the other guests," Mary said, gesturing with her arms to the group, all assembled behind the car together. "I can get the papers out of the car if you'd like to see them?"

"There is no need for that, I simply wished to confirm for my own sake. I am pleased to know that I was correct in this, but where are my manners?" the woman smiled as she brought her hand to her chest. "My name is Uwaki, and I will be your guide today."

The Hayes stood together and looked at one another in silence for a moment before Rebecca spoke up. "You know… I wasn't expecting anyone to speak english. At least, not so fluently?" She observed with a surprised tone.

"We at the Sakura Lotus Inn pride ourselves on being… flexible enough to provide any and all conveniences for our guests," Uwaki answered as she rose up from her bow.

Mark could've sworn that the woman's tone had grown a bit more sultry for a second there but, not wanting to make a scene, hurriedly tried to move the conversation along."W-Where's the inn at then?"

The woman gestured to the stone stairway that went up the mountainside. "The inn resides further up the mountain. I do apologize for any extra effort this causes you all."

"Not at all!" Mary cut in cheerily, pre-empting any possible griping from her family and waving off the concern with her hand. "A little hike won't kill us."

Scott let out a fond sigh at his wife's words and turned to his son. "C'mon Mark, that's our cue to get the bags," He said, chuckling at his wife's indignant huff at the implication.

"You won't need to do that, sir," Uwaki cut in, bringing the family's attention back to her. "Our staff will take care of any bags that you have, so you may entrust it to them and simply follow me up the path."

"Oooh! What amazing service!" Mary gushed.

Uwaki shared a grateful smile. "Thank you, ma'am. Now if you would follow me, we will arrive at the inn in no time at all."

As she turned and walked up the path the Hayes all followed suit, Scott and Mary walking beside one another.

"I wonder how close we'll be to the actual mountaintop," Scott wondered idly as his eyes searched the surrounding forests on the landscape. "We never saw anything close to this tall that wasn't a skyscraper or something."

"It's exciting!" Mary gushed as she took her husband's arm. "It makes it feel like a real vacation!"

Scott chuckled and patted his wife's arm. "Honey, we're already on a real vacation."

"Oh, you know what I mean!" She threw back with a small pout on her lips, though the slap on his arm only served to make Scott laugh as they followed their guide.

Taking the rear behind his parents, Mark noticed as his sister sidled up to him, the wide and mischievous grin on her face making him feel a bit of dread. "So~ Couldn't help but notice you taking the opportunity to look up our wonderful hostess's robe~"

His cheeks grew hot at Rebecca's words and, without any real response to give, he settled for giving her a firm push and looking away.

All that did was make his sister snicker to herself, but she did thankfully walk ahead of him, leaving her teasing at just that as they settled into follow their hostess up the path.

As the Hayes took their final step, Mary let out a loud hoot as she threw her arms up. "I don't even feel winded! I guess that my yoga classes are going better than I thought they were!"

The rest of the family didn't reply however, all too enamored with taking in the sights before them.

The grounds themselves were gorgeous, with beautifully kept grass surrounding the area, looking almost like a lush, natural carpet with its smoothness, all complimented by the smooth carved stone path ahead, a small group of large cherry blossom trees lining the walkway forwards, the few scattered petals that had fallen onto it only adding to its allure.

But beyond that, most of the family's attention was pointed towards the building itself, a single-storied building with beautiful white walls trimmed with dark, smooth wood. Long sloping roofs hung over the edges of the building with a sea of curved ceramic tiles covering the top, swishing upwards near the corners to add a small bit of flair.

A large sign hung over the double doors that sat at the end of the stone path, laid with Japanese characters that no doubt bore the name of the establishment, along with a set of twin fox statues as tall as a man that stood silently on either side, their tails curled about them around the base and almost seeming as if they were welcoming the Hayes as well.

"This place looks great!" Scott couldn't help but say as he took in the simple elegance of the building before him. "I'm already glad we came, and we haven't even gotten inside yet!"

"It's certainly good to hear the compliments, Mr. Hayes," Uwaki politely acknowledged as she stepped onto the path. "I hope that you share the same sentiments for what is inside."

The Hayes followed behind her, their heads swivelling about to take in their surroundings. Their gazes returned as, with a single smooth movement, Uwaki gently threw the double doors open and stepped into the lobby.

The smooth wooden floors lacked the panelling of the houses they were used to, looking almost as if it was one single stretch of wood that made up the floors even from what they could see around corners, the walls that same white of the outside with a few small banners depicting foxes in stylized watercolors handing on either side of them.

Before them, as the paths split off to either side in a 'T' shape, sat a large wooden desk that curved into the wall on its sides, a single clay fox sculpture laying atop the desk on its side and looking into the entrance, looking rather pronounced among the top, only matched by a small wooden display that held a rather ornate and polished pipe, letting off a small wisp of smoke that smelled pleasantly like flowers.

Behind the desk was a woman, though the word hardly did her justice. With the desk coming to a bit above her waist they couldn't see her totally, but she seemed to be wearing the same style of robe as Uwaki was, albeit colored in a much more suave gold with black trim. Her hair was long and silver, a single braid trailing over her shoulder and sloping down over her chest, itself large enough to compete with Mary's own.

A small, serene smile sat atop the woman's face, her features sharp in a way that was purely alluring, distracting the Hayes from the fraction of surprise that graced her face, only to be swiftly covered by a mask of professional courtesy. "Hello and welcome to the Sapphire Lotus Inn. My name is Shinko, and I shall be one of your hostesses throughout your stay. I trust that Uwaki treated you well on your way up?"

"She certainly did!" Mary answered, nearly bouncing from excitement.

"That's wonderful to hear, ma'am. I just wished to confirm for our records that you are a family of four, is that correct?"

"That's right, the Hayes," Scott said, wrapping an arm around his wife's shoulders. "I'm Scott, and this right here is my wife Mary."

She waved at the woman behind the desk as Scott gestured to his son on her other side. "This is my oldest, Mark."

Mark looked away from the tapestry he'd been eyeing to look at Shinko and politely nod to her as Scott moved to gesture at the final member next to him. "And this is my youngest, Rebecca."

"Hard not to be when there's only two," Rebecca retorted, though the playful tone in her voice held no hurt.

"Thank you very much Mr. Hayes," Shinko said, writing something down before pausing and dipping her head in a slight bow. "I must apologize that there has been a slight mix up. Nothing major, of course, but your rooms are currently still being prepared. If you would like, Uwaki can take you for a tour of the grounds, as we should be finished by the time you are through."

"Oh, no worries! A tour sounds lovely, we'll take you up on that offer!" Mary agreed without hesitation.

"Then if you would, Uwaki?" Shinko said, getting a nod from her fellow staff member who then turned to look at the Hayes.

"If you will follow me then, I shall show you around," She told the family, who all shuffled behind her as she took a turn down the hall.

Shinko watched as the family followed Uwaki, the woman gesturing and speaking about the inn's design as she went about. Once they turned the corner however, Shinko placed her elbow upon the desk and let out a sigh tinged with frustration, her professional demeanor slipping in the face of what was before her.

'So they really are a family…' She thought to herself, looking at the names on the paper in front of her for a few moments before reaching up and snatching up the pipe that was decorating the lobby.

With no need to pack or light it, she simply placed it in her lips and inhaled, taking in the soothing taste of the smoke before letting it out in one, calming breath.

"Will this still be alright?" She heard a voice ask from behind her and turned to see her fellow hostess, Sekina.

The woman before her had long, dark hair that she kept up in a high ponytail, somewhat similarly to the youngest guest, Rebecca. Her hakama was rather different from either Uwaki or Shinko's own, with the long skirt being traded off for pants and the sleeves rolled up to her elbows, displaying her smooth pale skin that laid beneath the dark blue cloth, accentuated with a copper-colored trim and overlaid with a smooth patterning of copper maple leaves.

Her attractively smooth features held a rare look of worry as she stepped to Shinko's side. "We've… never actually handled a family before…"

"No, we haven't…" Shinko admitted with a sigh, taking another puff of her pipe as her thoughts ran at a breakneck pace, considering the change in their situation from every angle she could.

After several long moments of silence she blew out the cloud of wispy smoke and turned to meet Sekina's eyes. "There's no reason we can't try, however. We go on as usual."

Sekina was quiet at her words, her eyes closed as her own mind ran through the events and possibilities, but when she emerged from it there was a fierce smile on her lips. "We can do that. This'll be a good challenge for the girls, actually."

"I agree," Shinko said, a small smile coming to her lips over how determined her fellow hostess seemed to be. "Now, go help get the rooms ready."

Without another word, Sekina walked off, her pace quicker than usual in her excitement. Shinko allowed herself a small, amused shake of her head before returning to her paperwork, taking another puff on her pipe as she began.

"While we are of course very proud of our main building, I have yet to show you the true appeal of our establishment," Uwaki continued her tour, guiding the Hayes over to a large set of double doors, made of wood and rice paper, which seemed to be the standard throughout the inn.

"Oooh~ A real set of Shoji-style doors…" Rebecca whispered to herself with awe as she glanced about them.

Uwaki gave her a small smile and nod before placing her hands within the center of the door and, with a quick motion, slid them both aside. Sunlight filtered in through the open passage as she stepped to the side and gestured towards the outside. "This is the true jewel of our inn."

The Hayes looked around at the open courtyard before them, arrayed in a large, rectangular formation surrounded on all sides by a small walkway covered by a wooden overhand that, given the doors interspersed throughout, led to other areas of the inn.

However what they framed was a rather small, tasteful yard in the center. A handful of sakura trees dotted the space to give a comfortable level of shade, carefully trimmed grass carpeting the ground that looked delightfully soft to touch, with a small pond, several long strides wide, sat within the one of the corners, complimented by a small red bridge that allowed for crossing over it and a small pipe of bamboo that seemed to draw water .

"Oh I've seen one of those bamboo things!" Mary cooed excitedly. "I don't remember what it was called, but they're really nice!"

"Shishi-Odoshi is its name," Uwaki explained smoothly. "They were originally created to startle animals that might eat crops, however they are more commonly used as decoration for gardens now."

"Shishi-Odoshi…" Mary repeated to herself slowly, testing the word on her tongue. "It's neat!"

But the family's attention was soon pulled away from the water feature as, situated at the very center of the yard, was where the true majesty of the courtyard lay, a lone building standing in the center of it all.

Twice as tall as the rest of the single-storied inn around it, its wood was painted a vibrant red that caught the eye more so than the deep browns of the inn's. Golden paint highlighting edges that were carved in small, stylized renditions of foxes so that they looked as if they were running around the sides or sitting at the ends of beams.

A large rope hung over the entryway, taller than a man with several small tufts tied along its length, and small paper lanterns hung at the ends of the support beams, a stylized sakura flower emblazoned on their faces.

"Oooh, is that a shrine!" Rebecca asked, her voice standing out in its excitement even among the rest of her family's awed cooing. "Who's it for?"

"It is dedicated to the fox goddess, Inari," Uwaki began to explain as a bright smile adorned her face. "She has many domains such as tea, rice, and of course, foxes. If you would like a tour, it can certainly be arranged. However, for now I would like to show you the rest of the grounds, if you will follow me."

As she walked off the slight incline of the inner porch the Hayes followed suit, glancing about the carefully kept courtyard taking particular care not to disturb it.

Stepping closer to the shrine, Scott noticed that there was a woman standing at the top of the steps. Long black hair flowed over her shoulders and onto the pure white robe she wore, with large loose sleeves that dangled far from her arms. A large red skirt framed her legs, flowing low enough that it was almost like the bottom of a dress, with simple wooden sandals on her sock-clad feet.

The woman was directing two others around with calm and steady motions, both of whom wore simple white masks with pointed ears on the tops and a few simple black lines that still gave him the distinct impression of a fox and wore rather simple blue robes.

"Hey, those girls wearing masks," Mark noted with some curiosity before pausing. "Why are they the only ones wearing them?"

"Their masks are quite similar to a uniform for our junior staff members," Their guide explained calmly. "Those of us who do not wear them are the most senior members of the inn, and so do not need to wear them."

"Huh. Weird… but cool," Mark conceded as he rubbed his chin thoughtfully.

As the Hayes came near the shrine's edge the trio stopped their work and, as one, gave a deep bow to the touring family before turning to resume their tasks who, not particularly sure of how they should respond, gave a few small waves of their own as they continued to follow Uwaki.

However, as Scott's gaze moved away from the workers, he found that he'd somehow missed the sight of several foxes lounging on the steps, with a few more striding along the trimmed grass below it. They didn't seem to be agitated in any way, yet the fact that they were large enough to be up to his waist if their head was up stirred some concern in him. "Miss Uwaki, is it safe for all of these foxes to be hanging out like that?"

"Please, just call me Uwaki, Mr. Hayes. And I assure you that they are frequent visitors and extraordinarily friendly. In fact, I see that your wife might attest to that herself," she explained with a patient smile, pointing towards Mary.

Scott followed her finger to see that, sure enough, there was a fox brushing against his wife's leg. Mary's eyes were wide as she peered down at the animal, her mouth parted in sheer wonderment of the close encounter she was having.

The fox looked up at her for just a moment, blinked, and then continued on its way, its long bushy tail slapping softly against Rebecca's leg on its way out, his daughter's face mirroring his wife's in a way that almost made him laugh.

"You weren't kidding," he said, somewhat astounded by the little display. But before he could say anything more, Shinko emerged from the main building, stepping into view of the family.

"I apologize if I am interrupting your tour, but I wish to inform you that your rooms are now ready," She spoke in a cool, neutral tone.

"Thank you, Shinko, I will take them there now," Uwaki replied before turning back to the family to give them a nod before walking towards one of the courtyard's edges.

The family followed suit, still looking curiously over the space around them before stepping onto the porch and being led down a short walkway away from the courtyard, with its own overhang to shield them from the sun and a small rail on either side, leading towards a smaller building on a raised porch of its own, far enough to be given privacy from the rest of the courtyard but not too far to be any hassle when going to the rest of the inn's complex.

Though they took in the surrounding property as they walked, their attention focused back onto Uwaki as she slid open a shoji on the building's side, revealing a small room with what they recognized as Mark and Rebecca's bags in one corner.

Rice paper made up its walls and, rather than the wooden flooring they'd seen so far, the ground was made of a strange, woven material that almost looked like wicker baskets, albeit much more intricately made.

"Is that gonna be big enough for all of us?" Mark asked as he peered into the space. While it was a bit larger than his own room at home, that wasn't enough for four people.

"Our rooms are made with two people in mind for them," Uwaki said as she stepped to the side of the door outside the room. "As we have made a mistake in accounting for your family, we have prepared this room so that you might use the adjoining one as well."

As she spoke she moved one of the walls to the side, revealing it to be a shoji that led into an identical room next to the first, with Scott and Mary's bags arranged carefully in one corner. "We have set up the children in that room, and the adults in this one. We hope that this is to your satisfaction," Their guide spoke with a small bow, stepping to the side to give them space to enter.

"Oh yeah, this'll work!" Rebecca assured the woman as she stepped into her room. She couldn't help but note that the floor felt fairly soft, enough to be comfortable to lie on at least. "I've always wanted to know what tatami felt like…" She spoke in awe as she bounced on her heels to test the feel of it. "Mark, check this out!"

"This is pretty nice, actually," Scott commented as he walked about the space he'd be sharing with his wife. However when looking at the woman he saw her gazing at the walls with a thoughtful furrow in her brow. "Anything on your mind, honey?"

She looked over to him and bit her lip. "It's just-The walls here are actually paper. We're gonna have to be, well… quiet."

Scott chuckled and reached down, taking a handful of his wife's supple butt within his hand. "No, you'll have to be quiet. We both know you're the loud one between us."

Mary giggled at his words, batting playfully at his chest before they heard wood shifting and, looking to their side, saw that Uwaki had opened up the paper wall adjoining their rooms, revealing it to be a door of its own.

"Is there anything that you would like before I leave you to unpack?" Uwaki asked demurely, thankfully ignoring the way that Scott snapped his hand back to his side.

"Oh! We saw that there's a hot spring around here, could we check that out?" Mary asked excitedly.

"Of course," Uwaki assured her. Give us a short time to prepare it for you, and we shall send someone in… ten minutes to show you the way. If that is all, then I shall take my leave."

With a final bow, the woman stepped out onto the balcony, shutting Mark and Rebecca's door as she went.

"Alright you heard the woman," Mary said, her voice taking on a stern tone as she looked between the other three. "Get in your swimsuits, I don't want to wait for that hot spring!"

She swiftly closed the door between their rooms and followed suit with the door to the courtyard to give them some level of privacy.

She turned back to see her husband digging through their bags. "You know, I wanted to bring a speedo along for the trip but your mother shot me down," He announced loudly enough to ensure his kids heard.

Twin scoffs of disapproval met him through the thin wall. "Thanks for that, mom," Rebecca said with equal parts earnestness and humor, before turning to Mark and giving him a playful push. "I'm changing first, so get out and wait your turn."

Mark rolled his eyes, but turned around and did as he was asked, quickly stepping out onto the porch to wait.

The sounds of shuffling bodies behind him was complimented with the rather serene sound of wind blowing through the trees before him, and he couldn't help but feel rather relaxed as he took it all in.

It wasn't long until he was broken from his thoughts by a soft clicking and turned to see it was Uwaki, her sandals clacking on the wooden floor as she held a bundle of clothing and what seemed to be wooden sandals atop the pile.

"Hello Mark. I've brought some yukata for your family to wear," She explained.

"Oh, then I can take them from you so you're not waiting for too long," He offered with outstretched arms.

However she shook her head. "You are our honored guest, so it would be wrong of me to take the offer."

Mark shrugged, feeling slightly awkward. "Ah, sorry then," he apologized, doing his best to keep his eyes from looking too much at the hint of cleavage that showed through her robe.

"I take no offense sir, and in fact I do appreciate the offer. We simply wish for our guests to enjoy themselves before all else." Her smile turned from polite to coy in a single moment before she continued. "No matter what sights they take in to enjoy themselves with."

The teen's face grew flush at her words, unable to tell if she was just flirting or joking, but knowing full well that he wasn't as subtle as he wanted to be.

Before he could decide either way however, the door slid open behind them and he turned to see Rebecca standing in the doorway, now changed into a modest two-piece bikini.

She glanced between the two for a moment and, noticing his reddened cheeks, a teasing smile grew on her face. "Are these for us, Uwaki?" She asked and, getting a nod in return, took them in her hands. "Sweet, I was hoping I'd be able to try out some of the geta sandals the moment I saw them! I'll take them to our parents while Mark takes his turn changing and not bothering the staff."

Uwaki giggled slightly as she handed a share of the clothes over to Mark. Still, he didn't want to chance anything else going wrong and stepped into the room without another word, quickly shutting the door behind him before letting out a sigh.

'Here's hoping I don't make too much of an ass out of myself…' He grumbled quietly in his mind as he opened his own bag, thinking of their cute hostess all the while.

Rebecca dipped her foot into the hot spring and was pleasantly surprised to see that, despite the steam rising from the surface, it was perfectly safe to touch.

With that reservation gone, the teen slid herself fully within the water, letting out a deep sigh of satisfaction as she nestled her back against the stone wall. "Oooh, this is heaven~" She cooed, before looking over her shoulder. "So get in already!"

Scott, Mary, and Mark had paused upon entering the Onsen to take in the sight. It was a large, fenced off area with smooth stonework that was small enough to not be too much for the family of four.

It all served to highlight the central feature of the area, a comfortably small hot spring. Torso-sized stones lined the edge with smooth, flat tops that seemed well-suited for sitting upon, and the water itself looked rather inviting as Rebecca sat within it, looking as if she was without a care in the world.

Scott was the first one to break from his admiration and step into the water, letting out a sigh to match his daughter as he sat across from her. "Damn, you weren't kidding!"

"So you didn't believe me?" Rebecca taunted cheekily, watching as her mother stepped in beside her father with tentative steps.

"Of course not dear, it just looks like a lot from outside of the water is all," Mary assured her daughter, before tenderly lowering herself inside the spring. "That is a bit hot…"

"You'll get used to it in no time, mom," Rebecca told her, turning to see Mark slide in just a few feet away from her. He didn't actually say anything himself but she could see the way that his shoulders slumped as the hot waters did their work on him and felt a satisfied smile slip over her face.

"Oooh, I think I already am!" Mary cooed appreciatively as she adjusted, slipping further into the water and leaning against her husband's shoulder. "Honestly though, I can't stop thinking about that shrine! It seemed really neat… Is it just me?"

"No it seemed pretty interesting to me," Mark chimed in. "We should see if we can actually go inside while we're here."

"As nice as that sounds, right now the only thing I care about is this spring, and how good it feels~" Rebecca groaned as she let herself sink further into the water, until her chin was touching its surface.

"I'd like to see more of the mountain, personally," Scott said as he wrapped an arm around his wife's shoulders. "Explore it a little and see what it's like farther up, y'know?"

"Mmm, that does sound nice actually…" His daughter agreed almost absently, thoroughly immersed in the comfort of the spring.

"This is going to be a vacation to remember…" Mark sighed contentedly as he folded his arms behind his head.

Quiet murmurs of agreement followed his statement as the rest of the family sank into relaxation, letting all the stress of travel seep into the quiet warmth of the onsen's waters.

Far from the resting family, the Sakura Lotus Inn's shrine sat quiet and still under the moonlight… at least from the outside.

The sole occupied room looked like any other in the building at first. White walls were lined with red-painted woods that had foxes carved into the inlay and large braided ropes, called shimenawa, strewn over every doorway. Its decorative construction all came together to be quite beautiful, but no different from the rest of the shrine.

However, where it did differ was that it was rather open, with an altar sitting at the far end that was wrapped in one large shimenawa around it and a flowing red cloth draped over the center of it upon the front and back. Sitting behind it, covering the entirety of the back wall, was an elaborately painted scroll of a large nine-tailed fox, looking over the altar with a serene tranquility that created an odd peace over the room.

Of course, that peace was being somewhat disturbed by the occupants of the room as, sitting upon cushions around a low table and lit by just a few hanging paper lanterns, a small group of women were gathered.

"We've… never had an entire family stay here before," Sekina said slowly, leaning back from her cushion to make space for the masked but otherwise naked attendant strewn over her lap. She inspected one of the many lengths of polished wood before her, carved into the shapes of various phaluses, before selecting one that was a respectable size.

Giving it a quick polish with a rag beside her, she nodded approvingly before pushing it into the attendant's slickened pussy, making the young woman shudder in ecstacy as it was shoved in until her palm hit the girl's crotch.

"We've sent out plenty of 'random' invites before and they've never gotten us anything like this," Sekina observed as she shook the dildo back and forth within the Attendant. Giving it a few quick turns as each movement made the woman on her lap spasm and twitch.

After a few more moments of this, she felt satisfied at the toy's quality and pulled it free of the quivering attendant to place it onto the table before her among a group of similar items. Separated from the group she grabbed from, all of them similarly glistened with clear juices, and she grabbed another clean one from the first group before beginning to polish it.

"Nope, not once!" Uwaki stated, her voice slightly husky as she leaned back, her pink robe parted along her body to allow space for an attendant to lay between her legs, the girl's mask pushed higher on her face to allow her tongue to smoothly probe Uwaki's depths. "It's kind of exciting, actually!"

Uwaki pushed her fingers through the attendant's hair beneath the ceramic mask, holding her close as the woman's tongue slid against the walls of her pussy, and let out a pleased coo as it poked at a particularly sensitive spot.

"Honestly I find it rather worrying," Shinko stated, her tone calm despite her words. On either side of her an attendant sat, both of the women leaning into the hostess and attending to her body.

The woman gave no reaction to their loving worship, even as one of the attendant's lips suckled at her breast, exposed past open robes, while her hand groped the other with passionate squeezes. The other was nibbling at Shinko's neck, her hand slipping down into the crevice of cloth that Shinko wore to rub her slender fingers along the woman's slickened pussy lips with a feverish speed.

"Miko, do you think this changes anything for us?" Shinko asked as she looked over to the table's last occupant.

The priestess of the shrine, still wearing her red-and-white shrine maiden's uniform, was leaning over an attendant and holding her head up in one hand while the other was placed in-between the younger woman's legs, three fingers pumping in and out of her pussy at a frenetic pace.

Pulling her lips from where she was licking along the attendant's neck and stopping her fingers at the same time, Miko ensured that the attendant was held on the verge of her orgasm before turning to Shinko. "As far as I am concerned, a challenge, however unforeseen, should be perfectly acceptable under Inari's gaze," She stated with a firm and cool tone. "However, we should do our best to win over the Hayes family before allowing anything more pressing to occur."

Her piece said, the woman dove back down, planting her lips upon the attendant's bare neck to suckle intently at it, while her finger slid back into the waiting lips of the attendant's pussy, the woman squealing at the shrine maiden's sudden attack.

"Thank you for the input, Miko," Shinko replied with a nod, her chin pressing slightly against one of her attendant's cheeks as the masked girl's tongue dragged along the hostesses' neck. "This is a larger group than we are used to, so we will have to plan accordingly. Still, I am confident this is well within our ability to do."

"I'm gonna call dibs right now on working Mark over first then!" Uwaki called out, shooting her hand up eagerly.

"There aren't any dibs to call! We'll all be working on all of them!" Sekina snapped at her, before being interrupted by a harsh squeal and looking down to see that she'd shoved the newest toy within her attendant much farther in than she'd intended, driving the girl into a twitching orgasm. "... Oops."

Uwaki cackled at the slip up and used her other hand to pull her attendant's face further into her crotch. "That doesn't mean I can't have fun with him a bit more, though!" She eventually threw back at her fellow hostess, before looking over to Miko. "Hey, I think yours is worn out."

Miko's tongue slipped off the cheek of her attendant as she looked down at the masked young woman, hearing the panting breaths she was taking as she weakly pawed at the shrine maiden's breast with a quivering hand.

After a moment of consideration she leaned back down and planted her teeth on the girl's neck, gently biting into it and sliding her fingers back inside of the attendant's pussy just as quickly, her thumb working to rub a small but blindingly fast circle onto her exposed clit.

The attendant shrieked at the sudden sensation, the noise devolving into a long moan as her entire body spasmed under the sudden and brutal orgasm forced upon her after having been edged for so long.

However, only a few moments after sending the girl over the edge, Miko let the younger woman roll off of her lap and experience the rest of her climax on the floor. Ignoring her twitching cries, she moved with blinding speed to grab another attendant, one who had been standing at attention at her shoulder, and placed the woman in her lap before beginning her ministrations over with this one.

"Since we're in agreement to treat the Hayes like any other guest at our inn," Shinko began as she moved her arms to slip around her attendants, hands moving beneath their robes to rub along their skin. "Any specific plans and ideas for how to do so should be shared now."

And as the two attendants all but melted into the eldest hostess' sides, the women continued to talk and play in equal measure into the depths of the night.

There we are, the first chapter, the first day! I hope you all enjoyed this foray into a new commission!
