[Hunter x Hunter] Scamming My Way to the Top

I just binge watched this one, its a good story but sadly it's not the kind of story that a lot of people would read.

Still Tompa is a great SI, not the usual type we get here but he's more believable than most stories I seen lately.

The system feels more like someone watching his antics and having fun at his expense, than an automated thing.

For example the more attentions he gets and powerful enemies he has will sooner or later have someone investigate on his past, and discover his lies...

Unless whoever is messing around with him actually makes them real, and retroactively or by some other way actually makes his the son of a family of thieves with special nen abilities.

That's would be such a fuck up moment for him is someone reads his past and it's more or less the lies he created.

Looking forward to more.

Could always blame the previous #4, Omokage. Honestly considering the lie it even seems like something he would do.

Hm, would it be better to blame him directly, or just stay silent? Because if he stays silent then the other Spiders would probably come to that conclusion on their own, but it also puts him at some risk if they come to the conclusion he's lying. But if he describes him directly then it could make the belief more firm but also put his current lie of "my trauma makes me unable to remember his appearance" at risk of being unraveled.

...Though with how Tonpa is spinning his tales, he might just try and come up with another entirely new lie that ends up making him dig himself even deeper in his pit of criss-crossing lies.
