Under normal cercumstances you could have accepted such a thing. Being a good invader means if life gave you lemons you bio-engineer them to be flammable and burn down life's house.

But no you had to lose to him. That stupid little shorty, Zim. Just thinking about him makes you want to vomit up your Squeedlyspooch. You'd lost everything save for your SIR Mimi and the ship the both of you escaped on. Oh how you want to return to that worthless little mud ball and rain DOOM upon them all! But you aren't one for revenge, no mater how sweet. Irken Elite must be logical after all and it would hardly be logical to abandon your mission for simple payback. You lack supplies to properly conquer that planet smash it's inhabitants into dust to sprinkle upon you donuts.

You could not even resupply at a nearby conquered world as you'd fled your janitorial Duty on Planet Dirt to DESTROY ZI- er, you mean userp his mission and prove yourself to the Tallest so to right the wrongs of your unjustly enforced employment. That you could put Zim in his place was simply icing on the cake.

You would have to find a new planet and start from zero.
