Hi guys! I've been having difficulty in my D&D group with planning out my turns ahead of time because I'm having trouble keeping track of the battlefield. I'm playing a 9/1 Divine Soul sorcerer/Life cleric support caster and knowing the damage of each monster is essential for knowing if I should stun them with Hypnotic pattern, heal, or cast Fireball. My ideas boil down to either manually write down how much damage each monster takes or have everyone change from Discord to Roll20. I'm hesitant to ask about changing to Roll20 because I don't want to make everyone change how they're playing for my problem. Does anyone have suggestions/articles I could read? Thank you! I really appreciate it!

Thank you for all your suggestions! I went with a suggestion of asking my DM to use chips next to each monster on the battle map to represent how much hp they had. He agreed to give it a try.
