Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.

Proposal: expand palette of Like buttons with (icon) as follows...
    - Headpat (hand)
    - Lick (tongue)
    - Poke (extended finger)
    - Touch Inappropriately (pinching fingers)
    - Meow (catgirl)

This will allow QQ members to express their affection in ways that are more forum-appropriate.

I know we are lewd and all, but it might make some members uncomfortable.

'Like' is boring, but it's reasonably value-neutral and work for most purpose. Very practical.

Well, okay. Catgirl can stay. Mostly because nobody agreed what it means. The rest, though...

Yeah I like the ambiguity of 'like' myself. Maybe I like the content, maybe I like the effort, maybe I like the ideas raised, etc. It helps flag the interesting posts in a thread if I'm browsing and lightly encourage whatever the person was doing without thinking too hard about the message sent like with a multiple-option system.

There are many cases where I keep wishing for a SV-esque "hugs" (when someone describes their real-life troubles, there usually isn't much to "like" in there), but ideas along the lines of what the OP proposed (i.e. just differently-flavoured varieties of "like") are unlikely to be particularly useful.

    Gotcha covered on that one.

Guess I should have spelled things out a bit more, but it's right there if you look.
