The words aswell Needs to be separated to "as well". Because it seems to be consistently spelled like that.

Alice looked at the boy before her, because to her that's what he was a boy, he was eighteen years old, his world had been broken over and over again by changes that he did not wish for, did not get to choose, and now… another change had occurred without asking for his permission, because that was the reality, in this world, nothing asked for permission, you either had to keep going, adapt and try to change the outcome or you would fall down, but sometimes… even if you wanted to change the outcome desperately, it did not mean that you would succeed, it did not mean that at all.

Slowly walking closer to the bed, she sat down next to him and put a hand on his knee before turning her head to look at Alan whos upper body was laid down onto the bed, an arm over his eyes.

"I know that it sounds unfair, because It is, I know that and I'm sorry, I'm sorry that we can't do anything more to change this… but is it so bad? I know that the way it's happening isn't great but in the end, maybe you can learn to like the world outside of this small town? There's so much things out there, so many places that you can get to explore, to live in. And I will be there, helping you every single step of the way." Alice said softly as as her voice grew warmer, to her, whilst she could feel bad about his emotions, about what was happening to him, she also… didn't feel the despair that he was feeling, she couldn't sympathise with that. She never had truly had a place, a location on a map that she could call home and if she had ever had that as a human… she had long forgotten about it.

'Am… am i excited about the fact that I'll get to be with him? Alone… for who knows how long, away from everyone else… just me… and him…. Mine.' Alice thought to herself as her thoughts turned immensely darker for but a brief split second inside of her mind and then she quickly shook those thoughts away as she focused back onto him once more, the thoughts were gone now, but they were still there, at the back of her mind, not at the front but there… waiting for their chance to bloom once more.

After a few moments of silence, Alan nodded his head slightly as he removed his arm from where it was shielding his eyes.

"You're right… I just need a bit of time to deal with it. Could you leave for a bit?" Alan asked slowly as he looked at her from where he was laid down on the bed.

Alice didn't reply verbally instead she simply gave a nod of her head before turning as she got up and headed out of the room without a single word more, deciding to leave him to deal with his own thoughts.

'She's not wrong… not wrong but those are not the word that I want to hear right now. Not the moment, not the time for me to hear those words.' Alan thought to himself as he felt his anger increase once more, at this point it was like he wasn't even truly inside of his own body, like he was noticing the emotions as if they were pigments of colour dropping inside of a water glass, clearly able to see them, clearly able to tell they were coming and what they were doing to him. It was a sort of detachment that he had never experienced before, not until now, it was in a way both frightening to feel it and also relieving, he was experiencing the emotions but he felt safe from their effects or at least a subconscious part of him did as his conscious was clearly effected by them still.
"Wolves… Quileute tribe, I hope that you listen…" Alan said outwardly for a moment before stopping as he continued his line of words inside of his own mind.

'Because if you dont… If you truly do make me have to leave… I will come back, I swear it on everything that I am… I will come back and rip you all out of your houses one after the other.' He thought inside of his own mind as he almost shivered at his own outburst, he had almost said that out loud, forgetting momentarily that everyone in this house could hear his each and every breath apparently whilst being on a completely other part of the house.

'This… is annoying, I can't even slip. Not once or they'll be able to hear everything, It feels like I'm living with a camera tied to my head and a microphone tied to my neck constantly. And with how the system is… that's really not something that I want to to have to deal with.' Alan thought to himself before shaking his head once more and then slowly sitting up getting off the bed before walking towards the ceiling to floor windows on the left side of the room and looking out into the forest outside of the large Cullen Mansion.

Tomorrow would be a long day as Carlisle had said, and he would have to prepare, both mentally and physically for anything that could happen.

'I can't head into the dungeon, not right now, not here. I have to find a way to head there but these guys don't even sleep, they seem to be able to hear everything thats happening and my body most definitely disappears from this world when I head to the dungeons otherwise I'd be dead from Joanna already. How do i deal with this?' Alan thought to himself as he noticed another strangeness, it was something he noticed whilst looking at the forest outside.

His vision was much better than any regular humans by this point, and yet he couldn't notice anything, not a single living being, not a single squirrel or any wild life really, nothing at all.

If this was at his apartment, he wouldn't find it that strange even though even there he did see the occasional wild life, but here? In the middle of the woods? It was most definitely not something that he had expected.

'And there's also no sounds, not a single one, not the birds chirping, nothing. Maybe its muffled by the window?' He thought to himself inwardly as he slowly opened the window and walked out into a small balcony that overlooked the forest and yet still… there was nothing.

'Right, vampires naturally release that oppressive aura, the wild life most likely sensed it and went fleeing away.' Alan thought finally before shaking his head to get it back towards the thoughts that actually mattered.

'I keep thinking about other things in the middle of actually important thoughts… am I… am i deflecting the thoughts? My own thoughts?' Alan thought for a moment before nodding his head and leaning against the balcony railings, his eyes almost glazed over for a moment before he looked back up at the forest and the darkened sky, the moon was slowly starting to come into view through the tree line of the forest.

Minutes passed as he kept looking at the treeline whilst not really looking at it, lost inside of his mind, it wasn't as if he was thinking of anything either, his thoughts had… simply stopped, he was empty minded, he had come across a problem that he truly did not know how to solve, at his current position, he didn't have a clue on how to grow stronger without giving out the existence of the system to the Cullens which would lead to sudden death. He did not know how to deal with the Quileute without growing stronger, he did not know what to do.

There likely was a solution somewhere, maybe it was even simple but currently, his mind simply couldn't come up with an answer, it had been too overstimulated throughout the entire day, it had to deal with too many things, with too many emotions, too many threats, too many secrets until it had come to the point that it had simply decided that enough was enough and shut down.

Finally, after an unknown amount of time atleast to Alan, after his eyes had turned heavy and his mind had started turning sluggish even with the most basic of actions like standing up and leaning against a railing. Alan stood up straight and turned around before heading back inside of Alice's room and walking to the bed before simply laying down on it, not bothering to change out of his clothes, even though a pair of pajamas had been placed on the bed sometimes earlier by likely Alice, though he hadn't even noticed her entering the room whilst he had been staring out in the balcony.

Laying down flat on his back, Alan closed his eyes and in what felt like an instant opened them once more… having slept instantly and woken up only to find that it had already become the next morning without him even realising it.

Sitting up groggily from his position on the bed, he brought a hand to his head as he felt a small headache already forming.

'God… I slept like a rock, almost instantly. Or instantly, can't really remember those last few moments before i fell asleep. My head hurts like a bitch though.' Alan thought to himself as he slowly stood up.

It was at that moment that a knock rang out at his door and he instantly turned his head towards it as his eyes widened and the situation he was in crashed into his mind almost instantly after.

'Right, I forgot for a moment where I was, this isn't my apartment, my apartment is basically gone, I'm at the Cullens, and last night… happened. Fuck.' He thought to himself before he opened his mouth and finally spoke out loud.

"Come in."

The door opened and inside walked Alice Cullen, her eyes looked even more amber than usual, it was… confusing in a way, the situation that they had to deal with today wasn't going to be great and yet the woman looked like she had never been happier in her entire life.

'Weirdo…' Alan thought to himself before slightly shaking his head just an inch and then focusing on her once more as she spoke.

"Good mornin Alan~! I hope you slept well after last night, I was worried for quite a few hours but then I came inside and saw you looking like a sleeping curled up rock. So that kinda helped with my worries, anyways you should come downstairs, Esme made food and her food is to die for or atleast thats what humans who have tried her food say, can't really give my personal opinion about it but its made with love and…" Alice said, her voice rapid as she spoke almost a few words a second, only stoppign when Alan raised his hand, palm facing her in a stopping motion whilst his eyes narrowed in slight pain.

"Slower… slower Alice, I already have a headache and I really cant listen to you talking a hundred miles a second right now. But yeah, I slept well. I rested and I'd be happy to try out your mothers food. I'm sure its great." Alan muttered with a tired deadpan, already exhausted with having to deal with this, this early in the morning.

The headache that he was feeling coming towards him almost as soon as Alice had started speaking in what felt like a hundred miles a second was not going away any time soon as it seemed as he released another exhausted sigh before slightly shaking his head as he walked towards the door.

"Alright, let's go get some food or rather I'll go? Since you don't even have to eat… you get what I mean, whatever." Alan muttered as he walked out of the room, leaving it and the deathly cannibalistic paintings behind as he walked out into the long hall with the dozens of photos and paintings of the Cullens through the ages once more.

Walking down the hall with Alice at his side, Alan was once more thinking about what he could do to deal with the situation once more, now only mere hours likely separated him and the meeting with the Quileute tribe, he would have to either make a plan soon or come up with some kind of idea because if he did not, he would simply have to go with the flow of events and as he had learned the flow of events never truly went in a direction that Alan wanted it to go in.

'Just what can I do… what the hell can I do?' He thought as his mind wandered to his abilities, he wasn't weak, he wasn't anywhere near as weak as he had been when he had first gained the system, in fact he was quite confident in his fighting ability, however the big problem that he had right now was that he didn't know exactly what that fighting ability measured against when fighting vampires or whatever kinds of wolves the Quileute were.

'The level that is shown in the observation when looking at Alice is high but that could be for other reasons and not just physical strength though the vampires have shown me otherwise and proved it that they do have much higher physical powers than me, but what im thinking is that maybe… the Quileute have some kind of other power? Something similar to whatever that Bella Swan has, she seems weak physically yet her level is much higher than it should be for a regular human like her.' Alan thought inwardly as he kept following behind Alice in silence. It was at that moment that he noticed someone touching his shoulder.

Lifting his head from where he was gazing at the ground suddenly in confusion, Alan looked to see that they had stopped and Alice had been shaking him for a bit.

"Uh… what is it?" He asked awkwardly confused as he raised an eyebrow towards the pixie-like vampire whilst scratching the back of his neck in embarrassment. It had been happening quite often, where he would focus so much onto something inside of his mind that he would lose sight of all the outside surroundings.

Alice looked at him for a moment before pinching her nose as she released a sigh and shook her head.

"Was I just talking for minutes… for nothing? Really Alan?" She asked in what felt like the first time showing annoyance towards Alan since he had met her.

Alan's lips slowly lifted up in one of the awkwardest smiles of his life before he raised his shoulders silently into a shrug.

"Sorry?" He said softly as he couldn't bear to look at her for a moment longer as his eyes swerved to the left, looking at the wall behind her.

"Look, it's fine, I'll just repeat it again, this is actually important so listen okay? The meeting with the Quileute Tribe that's happening today." Alice said and as soon as the words left her mouth, Alan's stance changed entirely in what felt like a fraction of a second as his eyes swerved back towards her face in an instant and his eyebrows narrowed, there was no more time for awkwardness or embarrassment, there was no more time for him to be complaining about his headache, his entire focus was placed on her and the next words that would be uttered out of her mouth.

"Carlisle sent a message to the tribe yesterday night, they responded and… agreed to a meeting however that doesn't mean that all is fixed. They didn't really give us any information besides the fact that they were indeed the ones that broke your place and that they would need explanations as well about certain matters, these are likely related to the disappearance of your friends and the fact that they smelled the blood in your apartment." Alice said at first as she took a step back and leaned against the left hallway wall, putting one foot on it whilst the other leg remained straight.

"Right, so what does Carlisle want me to do and also what time is the meeting?" Alan asked, his tone of voice was clear and there was not a single sway in it, his eyes remained cold, unmoving and unfeeling almost.

"Around seven in the afternoon we will meet with them at the border between our two territories, its in the middle of the forest, there's a small water creek that separates us. Now as for what you should do… Carlisle will tell you that himself, he's in the living room right now and he can talk to you about it whilst you finish eating your breakfast. Sound good?" Alice asked as she lifted an eyebrow.

"Sounds perfect."

"Sounds perfect" Alan muttered as he looked away from her whilst the two were walking down the hall, his stomach deciding at that very moment to announce its presence as it growled loudly… not that it would have mattered even if it had not been loud, the vampires would have heard it just as clearly as if it had roared loudly.

"Hungry huh?" Alice asked teasingly, a slightly lighter tone in her voice as she walked alongside him.

The mansion was large enough that it took almost an entire minute of simply walking slowly to get from Alice's room to the living room when they were talking an walking at the same time, the conversation switching from what they were going to do today and the downed atmosphere of the meeting that was now not even an entire day away, simply hours and into light hearted teasing as Alice chidded him about not eating enough.

Finally arriving before the living room door, Alice went first as she opened it and entered inside, Alan following swiftly behind her as he entered the room and looked around, the entirety of the Cullen Coven was around him, Rosalie and Emmet were seated at the living room couch whilst Esme seemed to be in the open Kitchen at the back of the room, clearly still cooking whilst Carlisle was seated at the head of the table, already waiting for Alan.

Jasper and Edward were seated a bit farther away on the single couches, Jasper reading some kind of book that appeared to be in spanish, making it that Alan couldn't quite understand what the book cover said, his spanish had never been his strong suit whilst Edward seemed to just be in his own thoughts, looking at the floor from where he was seated, his brows scrunched up and eyes narrowed at seemingly nothing but the thin air.

"Ah, good morning Alan. I hope you slept well?" Carlisle finally spoke as his head turned towards Alan as soon as he entered the room, that same calming deep voice that almost instantly seemed to make whoever heard it start trusting the man, it was in a way relieving and also concerning to Alan.

'This guy… it's almost like his voice has magical properties or something.' Alan thought to himself as he felt his own emotions inside of himself calm down as soon as he heard the voice of the man, it was certainly an experience.

'I'm not… gay right?' Alan thought to himself for a single instant before he shook his head lightly at himself.

'No. Definitely not, I'd know if I was… I'm not… I'm not…' Alan muttered inside of his own mind before refocusing once more on the man seated at the head of the table.

"Yeah, slept perfectly, thank you for your hospitality once more mister Carlisle." Alan replied as politely as he could towards the man who he knew for a fact could have simply decided to not help him at all and yet he had clearly been trying to find a solution to his problem whilst Alan had been dead asleep.

Carlisle gave a nod, a small gentle smile appearing on his face, only further enhancing his unnaturally handsome face.

"It's alright, you're a friend of Alice and any friends of hers is also one of mine. I'm just doing the least that I should do, considering that It wasn't your fault that you ended up in this situation. Anyone would have helped." Carlisle said softly as he shook his head, clearly not even trying to take any sort of claim to the help that he had given Alan.

'Any person would have? Yeah, tell Joanna that.' Alan thought inside his mind however outwardly he simply gave another grateful nod towards the man, not wanting to push if he didn't want to take the gratitude for the help.

Before Alan could speak another word or even sit down at the table, Esme Cullen appeared from the kitchen as she was cleaning her hands with a cloth.

"Good morning Alan, I made pancakes. I hope you're okay with that? I could make something else if you want?" Esme asked as she greeted him in a soft almost motherly voice as she walked closer to him.

Turning to face the woman, Alan gave a nod of his head before opening his mouth as he spoke.

"No, that's quite alright Ma'am. Pancakes sound awesome right now actually and yeah uh… good morning." Alan replied as he lifted his hand and scratched the back of his neck.

Alice chose that very moment to smirk as she patted his back, her eyes seemed to almost twinkle in amusement as she looked at him.

"Awhh, are you embarrassed? You always do that when your shy, it's cute y'know?" Alice said in a light almost giggling tone, clearly referencing to him scratching or rubbing the back of his neck.

Turning his eyes towards her without even moving his head, Alan gave her the meanest side eye glare that he could.

'I'm already struggling to deal with your parents here, I'm not used to this shit and you're making fun of me… ah damn it.' Alan thought to himself in slight light-hearted annoyance before turning his gaze back towards Esme who was motioning for him to sit down near Carlisle.

Giving a nod and deciding to stop hesitating any longer, Alan walked and quickly sat down at the table near Carlisle before pulling the chair up a bit closer and getting comfortable and then before he could even turn to Carlisle and start the conversation about what they would be doing at the meeting later in the day, he found a plate of perfect pancakes already placed before him.

The pancakes were glistening with what looked like honey as well as a side of blueberries and strawberries.

'That… was fast.' Alan thought to himself.

"Eat before you talk, can't even think with an empty stomach you know?" Esme said helpfully a single second later as she smiled warmly down at Alan.

"Ah, yes, uh thank you." Alan muttered as he started eating and the sound of a fork and knife together with the sound of chewing started being heard in the otherwise completely silent room.

'This is so damn awkward… can they like, put on the television or something… they're just completely silent and Alice, Carlisle and Esme are just straight up looking at me whilst I eat… please kill me, kill me right now.' Alan thought to himself as he almost lost his hunger simply from the complete awkwardness of the moment, that was for merely a moment however as he soon realised he was simply way too hungry to care about the situation around him and the pancakes were simply too perfect to pass up on.

Finally after a few minutes of complete silence besides the sounds of Alan eating, Alan finished and put down the fork and knife before taking a small handkerchief that Esme had given him and wiping at his mouth and hands.

Turning to face Carlisle, Alan's expression changed into one of complete seriousness as he nodded with his head towards the man.

"We could talk now, So… about the meeting, what are we going to do? What do you want me to do and how should I act during it? I assume that I must not be aggressive towards them and try to keep my calm even if they accuse me of things that I haven't done?" Alan asked slowly, thinking about his words as he said them as he thought about what he expected Carlisle to tell him.

Carlisle gave a nod of his head before opening his mouth to speak, his own expression having changed from the light warm one that he had been donning until now and turned into one of matching seriousness to the one that Alan had on his own face.

"Yes, that's the basics of it. The meeting will take place in neutral ground however you need to be on guard at all times. Alice and Emmet will be staying near you whilst I will be talking with them. Jasper over there has a gift that allows him to manipulate emotions to a certain degree, an empath of sorts, he will be using his gift to try and calm everyone as much as possible, you included if you start getting agitated by the accusations. What you need to remember when we head there is that we don't have as much power as the Quileute do in Forks, we have an agreement and we are in a way equally as possible however whilst we do not want a war to occur in any case, the Quileute are young, at least the new generation of them and they're likely to not have as many complaints about a war occurring, some of them may even want to use this situation to incite one and try to heroically start a war to get rid of the Cold Ones as they call us." Carlisle said as he motioned towards Alice and Emmet who was farther away in the room with his head before turning his gaze towards Jasper when he mentioned his gift and finally turning his gaze once more onto Alan by the time that he had finished his speech.

"Want to incite a war… they have that large of a grudge on you? But from what I gathered, you guys helped them in defeating someone that had been causing trouble to them, so I thought that you would at least have a slightly better relationship than this." Alan muttered in slight confusion as he tilted his head.

Carlisle looked at Alan for a moment before shaking his head as he released a long slow sigh and spoke once more.

"That should have been the case, we have never caused any trouble for them and even gotten rid of the occasional rogue vampire that came to Forks however , the younger generation doesn't see it like that. All they see are monsters in human skin who are also staying in what they call their ancestral lands or the lands nearby them. There's also the fact that their species instinctually doesn't like vampires, it's a situation similar to fire and water, we are in a way complete opposites of one another and even though we are coexisting, this situation isn't that safe or stable."

"Right… then I guess all that's left to do is hope for the best." Alan muttered in reply as he shook his head in slight annoyance.

'Younger generation fuckers, I bet it was one of those young gens that also ruined my apartment and did all that shit… if only I was stronger… if only.' Alan thought to himself in annoyance as he looked away from Carlisle and back onto the table infront of him. Esme had already removed his plate and cleaned the table, leaving it looking like it was brand new once more in mere seconds.

Meanwhile… As these talks were happening inside of the Cullen Mansion, on the complete other side of Forks, inside of the Quileute Reservation, a similar discussion was taking place.

Meanwhile as the talks were happening in the Cullen Mansion, at the same time on a completely opposite side of Forks, another discussion was taking place, inside of the Quileute Reservation among the leaders of the Quileute tribe.

At a large wooden house in the middle of the cabin, five people were gathered, Sam Uley, Billy Black, Abraham Penn as well as James Smith.

Sam Uley was the youngest member inside of the current meeting and the only reason that he had gotten a spot inside of it was for the fact that he was the member of the younger generation who had first activated his shape shifting powers, thus making him the current de facto alpha of the younger pack of wolves.

Billy Black was looking at him with an expression that clearly showed his complete seriousness on the matter that had been brought up after Carlisle Swan had sent them a letter during the late hours of last night. It had been left at the edge of the border between the two territories and the wolves which had been on patrol had found it almost immediately, easily able to smell when a Cold One came near their territory.

"Carlisle sent a letter last night, it pertains to the person who you report to have identified as the killer of the three kids from Forks Highschool. The letter talks about their being a misunderstanding and that Carlisle wants to have a talk with us at the border today about it, together with the kid whos being accused." Billy said, his old gravely voice spreading through the otherwise silent wooden house however a difference from the Cullen Mansion was the fact that sounds could still be heard coming from outside, it was only silence inside of the house, outside the wildlife was still making noise, the insects were still there and so were the deer, squirrels and other creatures. Some things that did not exist anywhere near where the Cullens lived.

"Missunderstanding? I smelled it, the smell of blood, the entire apartment was covered in it, aswell as the smell of those three kids. There is no miscommunication, whatever happened it happened inside of that kids house and now those… Cold bastards are even trying to protect him?" Sam spoke, his voice cold as he looked at Billy Black, his eyes narrowed, he had never truly had a great connection with the old tribe, having wanted to have more of his own freedom, more ability to make decisions on his own, he had never agreed to the truce deal that they had with the Cold Ones, always thinking that the best option was to fight them and get rid of them from Forks for good however he had not been able to say much as he did not have much power, however as more and more of the younger generation of the Quileute tribe awakened and joined his side… the more freedom he found in his ability to speak and defy the elders.

"That remains to be seen, we have never had any problems with them for a long time… it is true that we must never trust them however we should also still check what they are saying, it could be the case that the boy is truly innocent. He does not smell like one of them afterall." Billy said slowly as his voice grew harder at the obvious disobedient look on Sam's face.

'This kid… thinking that im taking a slight at him simply for asking him to be more careful.' Billy thought to himself, almost feeling like he was going to have a headache simply from talking to the young man infront of him who seemed to not want to take a cautionary approach no matter what.

'Ah to be young and… nevermind I was never that prideful.' Billy thought as he slightly shook his head and then turned his gaze towards the rest of the elders.

"We will do as Billy says… it is better to be sure rather than simply launch an attack towards the Cullens, we must not forget what they are and their power, a fight with them currently when we are still getting stronger is not a good idea. We have to wait atleast a few more months if not another year or two before everyone of this generation finishes awakening to their true self. At that point we can take more rash decision Sam." Abraham says as he gives a nod towards Billy before turning his gaze towards Sam, it was his way of affirming the power that Billy and the other elders held whilst still trying to slightly appease the young man so that this wouldn't turn into a straight out brawl of words and shouting between the two parties.

'We have to be more careful with him aswell, we can not have a rebellion happening inside of the tribe whilst the Cullens are still here, as always they will leave in a few years and be gone for decades, enough time for Sam and the others to mature enough… we just have to hope that nothing happens today.' Abraham thought to himself as he felt like releasing a long sigh, he had always had the job of dealing with the inner politic currents that went through the tribe however he had never had as much trouble as now when the next generation was slowly rising up to take up the mantle from the last one.

'Just a few more years of peace… just a few more.' Abraham thought to himself as he slowly turned his gaze to look through the window and to the outside.

The hours passed faster than any of the ones that Alan had ever experienced in his life, it was like one moment he was still eating breakfast at the table inside of the Cullen mansion and in the very next moment, the sun was already starting to set down.

He had not done much throughout the day, in fact he had almost spent the entirety of the day sitting down in the living room with the television turned on to a random sports channel whilst he was deeply inside of his own thoughts, thoughts that went inside of his mind for a moment and then out of it, if someone even questioned him what he was thinking about, he would obviously tell them that he was thinking about the future, about what was going to happen, about what he was going to do from now on, however if they asked him what the conclusion he had come to was? He would not be able to reply.

He had no idea, none at all on what was going to happen, on what was going to be going on during or after the meeting with the Quileute and neither did he have any idea on what he was going to do. He had thought about it so much that it had cycled back to the point where he had thought so much about it that he was too conflicted, it was as if he had not thought about it at all.

'I wish I had not, atleast that way I wouldn't have spent all that damn time stressing about it and actually enjoyed my day inside of a fucking mansion. But no, I did all that for nothing and now the sun is setting and it's almost here and i dont know anything.' Alan thought to himself as he was on the balcony of the woodland mansion, staring out at the falling golden sun as it slowly but surely approached the top of the tree-line and then started disappearing behind it as the light slowly vanished and was replaced by the darkness of the night time.

"Are you ready Alan?" A voice said from behind him, turning around to look, he already knew who it was without having even fully turned, and there she was, Alice Cullen. She had stayed by his side throughout the entire day, unlike her usual self or the morning, she had not spoken much, letting him have time to deal with his own thoughts and process everything on his own, something that he was appreciative of. Sometimes silence was a bigger gift than any kind of talk could be.

"Yeah. As ready as I'll ever be. Are we going now?" Alan asked softly as he gave a nod of his head towards the pixie-like vampiress.

Alice gave a nod of her head in reply to his question, her expression was as serious as it had ever been, her eyes slightly narrowed and much darker than her usual amber as she looked towards him for a few moments in silence before finally replying as she turned her head to look behind him, staring at the falling sun through the tree line. The entire mansion was mostly in shadow and the sun never hit any part of it, however the sun could still be seen for just a slight second and then it disappeared after a few moments, the last rays of it disappearing.

"Yeah, we'll be heading over now. It's already almost seven, we will be heading there on foot. I'll carry you." Alice said softly as she turned her head to look towards Alan once more, her lips were in a flat line after she finished talking before she softly shook her head, clearly not at him but whatever thought had briefly passed through her mind.

"Carry me?" Alan asked in slight confusion as he lifted an eyebrow towards her.

'What does she mean by carrying me? As in literally carrying me in her arms? Why? What? Wait… are… are they going to be moving at the same speed that Edward moved at during his save of Bella on that day?' Alan thought to himself as his mind quickly found the memory of the day Edward Cullen had saved Bella Swan during the incident with the white van and then as soon as his mind went there, his eyes slowly widened slightly.

'Can… Can I even survive that? No… no way, hell no. I don't wanna do that shit. It was already scary enough when she was driving but doing that?... fuck. I don't have a choice do I?' Alan thought to himself as he felt a shiver slowly start from the base of his spine and then spread through the rest of his body.

Alice instantly caught the shiver in her sight as the flat line of her lips slowly started twitching as a slight playful look started twinkling inside of her eyes as she slowly walked towards Alan before stopping right before him and placing her hand on his shoulder.

"Oh come on Alan… it won't be that bad. In fact It's going to be really fun, all the scenery around us as we run, the sights, very beautiful… if you can even see them at that speed that is." Alice said as her smile finally widened enough to resemble a smirk as she looked at him with open playfulness in her eyes now.

"Damn you…" Alan muttered out loud unconsciously.

A few minutes later, Alan Walker found himself in the middle of the forests that surrounded Forks whilst on the back of a tiny pixie like vampire whilst the rest of the Cullens stood around them. Emmet Cullen in particular looked like he was having the time of his life as he stood there, smirking and barely being able to stop his laughter as he stared at the scene in front of him.



It was a comical sight, something that even Alan himself knew as he was on Alice's back. The tiny woman holding him on her back whilst making it look extremely easy as if she was simply holding a bag of feathers instead of an actual person.



"Can we… just get going already?" Alan asked with a sigh as he lifted his hand and placed it over his face, his expression showed a look of utter devastation at having to do this in public and in front of people that he barely even knew at all.



"Get going already? Come on, enjoy it a little. You're being carried by a pretty lady y'know?" Emmet finally spoke as his smirk widened as he walked closer to Alan and Alice, however as soon as he took two steps, his mate, Rosalie Hale dragged him back to his previous position forcefully by his shirt.



"Shut it Em." Rosalie practically hissed out as she looked at him with eyes that looked like they wanted to murder him before they landed on the sight of Alan and Alice for just the briefest moment, a complicated emotion appearing on them before she turned her gaze away towards the front and into the forest once more.



Rosalie hadn't spoken a word to Alan, not since he had learned everything about them and what they were. It was clear that she had not been appreciative of the fact, something that Alan had figured out before the reveal had even happened however she had remained more cordial than he had expected her to be considering everything that had happened.



It seemed that she and Alice had come to at least a truce deal or something similar with neither conversing with each other or interacting in any way.



Carlisle, who stood at the front of the group, finally nodded his head to the rest of them and turned his body to face in the direction they would be heading in.



"We will arrive there in a few minutes at most Alan, hold onto Alice as much as you can and stay close when we arrive, do not in any circumstance say anything that could lead to any kind of misunderstanding or angering of the Quileutes. Let me do the talking and only talk if they specifically want to hear from you." Carlisle said in that perfect voice of his that seemed to almost echo throughout the forest.



Alan who had finally lowered his hand from his face and had smoothed his shamed expression over, gave a nod of his head as he similarly to the man turned his gaze forwards and then tightened his arms around Alice's neck as much as he could, there was no reason to fear that he would suffocate her, he already knew that even if he tried to do something like that, It wouldn't work.



For a brief moment as soon as Alan had given the nod, the Cullens stayed still, merely turning their heads in the same direction as Carlisle and then in the very next second without any warning or anything, with no wind up time at all. Alan felt the image of the forest before him change as everything turned into a blur and a force unlike any other slammed into his body as he wrapped his arms even tighter around Alice.



For a moment he had felt like he was going to be thrown off and get sent flying before he had doubled his efforts, the speed that they were traveling at was frankly unlike anything Alan had ever seen before, the speed of the yellow porsche wasn't a comparison at all, it wasn't even close.



'What… what the fuck.' Alan thought as he tried to hold on as much as he could however it was getting harder and harder with each second as his strength started getting weaker, he couldn't hold on at maximum strength all the time after all and the twists and turns at insane speeds so that they wouldn't end up face first into a tree were not helping in any way at all.



The scenery around him was slowly turning back from a blur to something actually visible as Alan's eyes got adapted however even then, he could see the objects that they were passing, he could remember parts of the scenery however there was in no way any chance for him to actually react to anything at this speed. Even if he had been able to move around at such speeds himself, it would have been utterly uncontrollable.



'Just how far ahead of me are they in strength overall? I can barely even see whats around us and yet Alice is reacting to it completely and dodging every single tree and object in the way perfectly with me on her back whilst not slowing down at all. And this… its a pretty dense forest at that.' Alan thought to himself in shock at what was happening, however the shock would have to get removed fast as he realised something once again. The scenery was no longer moving.



They had stopped.



They had arrived at the meeting location with the Quileute Tribe.

How is this not a big thing in the Cullen coven? For centuries Eddie hears the thoughts of literally everyone around him. And in Forks this ends with Bella. And now, in the words of that Separatist Envoy: "There are two of them."

Also why is Jasper in the coven, but not with Alice?

Why is his system so chaotic? Some stats do things, like STR, CHA and AGI, but INT does nothing? He trains no stats, even though he said somewhere he can?
No other talents since what, level 5?
Skills have weird level-up requirements, like observe only leveling to 2 after being used on magic?
The skinwalker used magic, but the centuries old vampires never heard of them, or of any other magic users?

I am confused by a lot, but still enjoying the story enough to binge it

The meeting area was at the border between the Quileute and the Cullen territories.



The area was in the middle of the forest, there was a small creek that ran in between the two territories that had been used as the border between the two of them. Rocks covered most of the area around it and then the treeline started before quickly turning into a dense forest.



And there… in front of Alan Walker, on the other side of the creek, barely a dozen meters away stood the Quileutes. There were a dozen of them, more than the Cullens, around ten.



Part of the group were Billy Black who had come as the lead of the tribe as well as Sam and the rest of his pack.



Meanwhile on this side were the Cullens and Alan, the only one missing was Esme Cullen who had stayed back at the mansion whilst the rest had gone on to the meeting.



Alan took a slow gulp that seemed to almost echo in the complete silence of the area, the only thing that was heard besides the sound of the water rushing down the creek.



Slowly and carefully, Alice lowered Alan to the ground whilst her eyes stayed glued onto the wolves, they weren't in their wolf transformations yet, however all the vampires could tell just based on how tense the quileute side were that at the slightest sign or alarm they would most definitely instantly transform and get onto the attack, especially the younger members of the tribe who seemed to almost be shaking slightly, be it from nerves or from some kind of anger that was directed towards them.



"Carlisle, you called." Billy spoke first as he walked closer to the Creek whilst he raised a hand towards the rest of his tribe, calming them down slightly as he walked closer and then stopped right at the edge of the Quileute territory, merely a few meters away from the Cullens.



Carlisle himself gave a nod of his own as he started walking and stopped at the edge of the creek on his own side as well.



"That's right. There has been a misunderstanding and Alan Walker, the boy over there has suffered because of it. We were hoping to clear this up." Carlisle spoke as his gaze moved slightly behind him to where Alan was stiffly standing, his breathing as controlled as it could be whilst standing in the middle of a gathering of beings that were most definitely much stronger than he was, knowing full well that his life was not in his own hands at all.



'Observe' Alan thought to himself as he stared at the quileute… and the observation skill took effect instantly however just as he had expected, the results that it gave were not in his favour in the slightest.



[ Observation Skill has been activated. ]



[ Analysing Target. ]



[ Analysis Complete. ]



[ The difference in the level is too high, giving partial results. ]



[ Name: Billy Black. ]



[ Level: ??? ]



[ Age: ??? ]



[ Race: ??? ]



[ Name: Sam Uley ]



[ Level: ??? ]



[ Age: ??? ]



[ Race: ??? ]



…



He used the observation skill on each and every single one of the people from the Quileuete however the results were the exact same, they were at the same level as the Cullens or maybe they were weaker or stronger, Alan didn't know that, he couldn't accurately tell the level that the Cullens were at, however there was one thing he knew for sure after the observation, they were too strong for the difference to even matter in the first place and the second piece of information that he had was the fact that they held a similar territory in forks to the Cullens, something that obviously made him think that they were quite equal in strength if not in singular strength, at least when you compared it numbers wise.



'Damn it, damn it all. I had a slight hope, however small that they wouldn't be and that they only held the territory because the Cullens are nice and that hope just got fucking crushed to the ground.' Alan thought to himself as he released a soft slow inward sigh as he once more focused onto the conversation that was taking place before him.



"A misunderstanding? One of our own was investigating the murder of three teenagers Carlisle. The boy that you are protecting was the last person that was seen with them, that however didn't make us judge him as guilty instantly, however when we sent someone to his home… there was the smell of blood, the children's blood all over the entire apartment. How does one explain that?" Billy Black asked as he lifted an eyebrow, his voice was slightly gravelly however it was completely controlled, not a slight bit of increase on his tone as he gazed at Carlisle, the man was simply stating the facts as he knew them, without trying to accuse instantly or get emotional about anything at all, a complete difference to how Sam Uley who was right behind him was reacting as soon as he heard Carlisle accuse them of misunderstanding the situation.



"It was already clear what happened as soon as I stepped into that apartment, Cold One. You are simply trying to protect one of your own." Sam Uley finally spoke, his voice almost trembling with rage as he gazed at Carlisle's amber eyes.



"I know that it is hard to believe however it is the truth. We have not caused any problems in centuries and have had no need to do so. Alan is not one of us, he is not a Cold One as you call it. And as you can see from us, none of us have had any human blood, it would show in our eyes if we had, you know of this Billy Black." Carlisle spoke once more, ignoring the young fellow who had interrupted the conversation.

Billy Black similarly chose to completely ignore Sam, this was not the time, and he himself did not want things to escalate into a blood bath.



"Then explain the smell of blood Carlisle, what happened? Or could the boy himself come forth and explain his own side of the story." Billy asked as he turned his gaze towards the side and looked past Carlisle to where Alan Walker was standing.



Feeling the gazes of every single participant in the area turn towards him, Alan felt a shiver run through his entire body, one that he quickly stopped as soon as he could as he turned his gaze slightly to Alice who gave him a nod before he turned his eyes back forwards and took a step and then another slowly before he found himself standing next to Carlisle whilst looking at Billy Black.



"Hello, my name is Alan Walker. And… I did not kill them. They were my best friends, the only people that actually talked to me. I was friends with them before I ever had met the Cullens or even talked with them. So… firstly, the Cullens have nothing to do with the scenario at all, they only found out about the full story last night when I told them about it and asked help considering that my entire apartment was ravaged." Alan said softly as calmly as he could, trying to convey as little aggression as he could.



He had already seen how Sam Uley had reacting to simply being called out for misunderstanding the situation, Alan was already on the edge about even saying anything about what the guy had done to his apartment in case the man did something rash or found some kind of weird offense or thought that Alan was trying to say something against him with that statement.



"You're right, from what we've gathered, you were indeed friends with them. But that still doesn't really explain anything Alan. It makes this even more confusing however it does not explain it away." Billy said slowly as he looked at Alan, his eyes still as steady as ever as he now gazed at the young boy standing in front of him.



"That… That's true. The person who killed them was a skin walker of sorts, they came in town and were selling drugs to the three of them, i found out about this after they called me over to get me to try the drugs as well for fun… and they got possessed, that was when the skin walker found out about me and well got interested, they then killed the three of them and tried to use their deaths to… damage my mental health and make it easier to posses me and use my body. But that… thats the truth but its not something that I can verify more than just my words and the fact that I've never done anything. But the smell of blood is also all that you have when you're condemning me." Alan said and the second the words left out of his mouth, he knew that he had made a mistake, he knew it almost instantly after all the entire atmosphere of the entire gathering changed.



It wasn't Billy that had changed, and neither was it the other older member of the Quileute tribe that had changed. It was the entire younger generation with Sam Uley at the top that had changed, as their entire bodies were slowly being covered with fur from the tips of their fingers and toes and towards the rest of their bodies.



Carlisle didn't hesitate even for one moment as he grabbed Alan by the back and threw him behind him whilst Alice moved at super speed and instantly caught him into her arms mid air.



Growling slowly started to be heard all around the clearing before hissing soon joined in as Alice's expression had completely changed, her fangs being shown whilst her eyes had turned a complete dark abyssal black.



"Do you expect us to just believe that? Do you truly think that we are some kind of idiotic beasts? All that we have is the smell of blood? You think thats not enough? Your staying with those monsters, talk about it not being your fault but from some kind of nonsensical story like a skin walker? And you have no proof to even verify the existence of such a creature? Elder Black, I believe we have heard enough." Sam Uley practically growled the words out as he took another step forward to now standing right besides Billy Black, his expression had fully turned into a complete snarl.



Billy himself had turned his gaze towards Sam and then past him to the rest of the younger generation. Alan who was looking at every single one of them as intently as he could, noticed a slight change in expression for a brief second, it was almost… a look that someone who was completely and utterly tired would give however it seemed also somehow tinged with slight sadness.



"The boy must leave Forks by next week. That is the biggest concession that we can give Carlisle." Billy spoke once more as his expression changed back to that stoic look once more whilst he raised his arm and put it in front of Sam.



"Billy…" Sam growled out almost as soon as he did, his gaze narrowing towards the elder in what felt like pure aggression, as if the man had slighted him personally.



"Stay down. I will not speak again Sam. Do not embarrass us." Billy said in a tone that was colder than it had ever been.

They're Native Americans.. Direct Descendant. There is absolutely no way they haven't heard of skinwalkers. And why would taking out a body out of his inventory expose the system. Because as far as I can tell , they have no context to what a system is. They would sooner believe it's a magical pocket than that he has access to a system.

True, but Alan is playing it super safe. He's gone to the dungeon in front of the skinwalker in order to escape though, so it's probably safe. Simply blurting out stuff about the system seems to be the only thing that's verboten; refusing to explain the weird things he does (aside from maybe saying "magic" and waving his hands) is probably how he'll start handling things (hopefully)

Leave Forks forever by next week, those words resounded inside of Alan's head over and over again as he stood still whilst he was surrounded by the Cullens, for a moment he couldn't even look at the Quileutes that were standing a dozen or so feet away on the other side of the water creek. He had known that it could come to this, in fact this was one of the better scenarios that his mind had cooked up, the rest of them had involved Alans decapitated body or worse…



'To think that I'll have to leave my hometown, simple because I protected myself, all because of that fucking bitch who had to come and start hunting me down, I have the bodies in the inventory, but what would that even do? Even if I did show the bodies, it would just further confirm that I'm not normal, it would put me more at risk of the system penalty whilst at the same time, what would they even think? They could just say that I was the one who killed them… damned it. Damned it all.' Alan thought to himself as he finally started raising his gaze, his eyes had narrowed and the rage for once had consumed him, it felt unfair, the entire ordeal, the entire world felt unfair as he gazed at Billy Black and then at Sam fierctly his eyes not heading down or away from them at all, for a moment, Alan did not care, he didn't care at all whether they could kill him, whether they could do anything.



Finally after a few moments of silence in the clearing, Alan spoke up once more, breaking the deep tense silence that had consumed the clearing.



"I will leave Forks by next week as you have asked of me, however I will be back with proof one day, proof that I wasn't the one who did it, definite proof that the skin walkers I talked about are real. Because I will not be expelled out of my own home for something that I did not do. Until then, I will listen to your command." He spoke, his voice hard and steady, not wavering in the slightest as he gazed directly into the old mans eyes with his own unflinching slightly green eyes.



Billy black gazed at him just the same, his expression showing not a single change in it for a mere moment before he gave a nod towards Alan.



"Alright boy, come back with proof and we will welcome you back, I will even personally apologise towards you." Billy replied before turning around as he slowly started heading away, the rest of the Quileute looked at their elder and then back towards the Cullens and Alan multiple times before they similarly started heading away, leaving only the Cullens and Alan in the small clearing at the water creek.



"Alan… I'm sorry that I couldn't do more." Alice said softly as she was the first one to move even closer towards Alan and place a hand on his shoulder, her own eyes were slightly glassy and a clear amber colour, clearing projecting the grief that she felt towards his own misfortune, whilst Alice didn't particularly mind leaving Forks, she infact had even slightly dreamed about it, leaving Forks together with Alan, just the two of them for the rest of eternity, however she also knew that it wouldn't be an easy thing for the boy that had lived his entire life inside of the town, she knew that it would in no way be a simple matter, not when the leaving hadn't been voluntary but rather a forceful expelling of him from the town.



Alan didn't reply for a moment, gathering his own thoughts and emotions as he had been working to calm himself inside of his own mind since Billy Black had agreed and then proceed to walk away. Finally after gathering his thoughts once more, he turned towards Alice and gave a nod of his head, just a slight brief motion of his head as his eyes appeared to be more focused than they had ever been.



"I'ts alright, It's not the end of the world, I'll be heading off then, I'd like to do it as soon as possible actually." Alan replied towards Alice before his gaze turned towards Carlisle.



"Would you be able to send me to Port Angeles mister Carlisle?" Alan asked directly.



Carlisle gave a nod of his own as he spoke.

"Yes, I would be able to, however I was of the thought that Alice would be joining you?" Carlisle spoke with that soft baritone voice of his as he looked at Alan with slight confusion.



Alan shook his head as he replied.



"I'd like to head off on my own, maybe I can call her or something if I want to meet up with Alice who is a very dear friend of mine however… not now, I want to be alone for a while and I hope that she and the rest can respect that." Alan spoke out.



'I can't go to the dungeons if she or any of them are around, I don't need any distractions anymore, not a single one, at least not until I finally get strong enough that I can deal with this constant bullshit.' Alan thought to himself, his inner voice was cold, there was no way in hell that he could allow Alice to tag along with him, not when he had just faced another injustice simply because he had been to weak to stop it, and he had the tools to grow stronger, all that he had to do was use them.



Alice who had stood by his side slowly changed her expression, at first it turned almost emotionless before her eyes turned much darker and for a slight second, it almost looked like she wanted to kill Alan himself right then and there, like she couldn't accept the fact that someone was taking him away from her even if it was Alan himself that was doing it, all of that however barely lasted for a single second, before Carlisle took a few steps closer to Alan and Alice's expression returned back to normal.

Here's a chapter for today, this is the start of a new arc and it becomes quite a bit more fast paced from here on out.

And... I have to say that I really like the next arc.

It will however be original content... though at this point it feels like I'm writing an original novel instead of a fan fiction considering just how much original arcs I'm doing, but I had this idea and I couldn't not write it, I won't spoil anything and you'll just have to wait and see.

Sam Uley practically growled the words out as he took another step forward to now standing right besides Billy Black, his expression had fully turned into a complete snarl.

I don't want to argue with you, but in the chapter before, Sam literally says skinwalkers are "some kind of nonsensical story".

Before reading that, I would have thought producing the corpses might work. Especially because Alan smelled kinda like the Quileutes(couple chapters back, just before they trashed his home), probably because both are blessed by Gaia, and the skinwalker might smell bad to them.

That's weird because I do recall that Native Americans know well about Skinwalkers as it's literally part of their mythology. Seems that La Push peeps are so closed off from wider parts of supernatural, they'll need to be reminded once again to see that they are not alone with Cold Ones.

Just wait for their reaction when Alan comes back as full blown Elf looking like Noldor from Tolkien with solid proof to shut the La Push idiots down.

"Why… I thought… I thought that you would, y'know… I thought that we were getting closer, are you sure about this Alan? You'll be all alone by yourself in a city that you dont even know anything about? No friends, no way to get help if something happens… and I wont be close like I am in Forks to just come as fast as possible." Alice spoke softly as she looked at Alan with that soft expression on her face as she took another step closer, a step that caused Carlisle to slightly raise his guard up even further as he looked at this adopted daughter with a narrowed gaze, his hands looked ready to snap up and stop her at a moments notice.



Alan's eyes caught the entire scene in detail, the look on Alice's face, the guard that Carlisle had put up around him and how the rest of the Cullens were reacting in a eerily similar manner to Carlisle himself.



'What the fuck is happening? Is this… Is she actually about to attack me right now? Just because im refusing to take her with me? No… I think I know her well enough to know that she wouldn't intentionally harm me in any way, however what if she thinks that I can only be safe if I am around her, what then?' Alan thought to himself as he slowly felt a shiver slowly start to being running through his entire body before he forcible calmed his body down, something that he had unfortunately gotten very good at from how many eerie and unsettling situations he had been in recently.



"Yeah, I want to go alone, I… I can't say much, I can't even really tell you the reason as to why, but I want you to understand that this is for my own good, please respect my choice. I'll still keep in touch as much as I can, I'll call you on the phone as much as possible and you'll be the first person I turn to if something does happen and I do need to seek help. But this is a step that I want to take alone, even if I can't tell you the reason as to why." Alan spoke, his voice slowly turning clearer and clearer and more steady as he spoke the words out loud, his mind turning firmer as he finally finished his thoughts and what he could do to get out of this situation.



"For your own good, even though it really is hard to believe that Alan… I… I'll trust you, thats something that I should be able to do as your friend… okay." Alice responded after a few moment of silence that had placed the entire area into a tense standoff, after finishing said words, the vampiric woman took a step beck and then another until she was a dozen meters away from Alan, before giving one last nod and turning around and running away into the forest, her figure turning into a blur of speed as she disappeared.



Carlisle who was next to Alan released a sigh of relief before he turned towards the boy once more, his shoulders slightly less tense then earlier.



'That was anticlimactic.' Alan thought to himself as he wondered if his mind had over-reacted to Alice's expression changes and how she had been standing, maybe she truly was more understanding than he thought she was.



'Yeah right… don't let your guard down, I'm done letting my guard down, guard up at all times, around every single person. I don't have family in the first place, I can't even begin to trust these people with my life or anything else at this point, even thought they have helped me… I should always have backup plans in mind starting forth.' Alan thought as his eyes lifted up slightly and he turned his gaze away from where Alice had disappeared into the forest and back towards Carlisle who was standing next to him and now looking directly at him.



"With that sorted out, you said that you wanted to leave Forks tonight, I'll help you or rather I'll get Edward to drive you out to an apartment in Port Angeles, It's one that we own, you can stay there for as long as you wish, we will also give you enough funds to last you an entire year on your own before you have to even think about getting a job. I suggest that you use that year to get more onto your feet and then proceed to travel even further away from Forks and Port Angeles as the Quiluete young members could always come back for some kind of trouble." Carlisle spoke as he turned his gaze away from Alan at the end of his words and towards the direction where the Quileute had vanished, his eyes narrowing for a moment at the darkness inbetween the treeline before those same amber eyes turned towards Alan once more, awaiting his reply.



Alan's own eyes had widened considerably, he had thought that he would just get sent to Port Angeles and left to fend for himself however it seemed that the generosity of the Cullens was something that he had once more underestimated, and at the same time, it was one thing that kept getting more and more baffling, why would they be helping some random kid that just happened to be their daughters friend so much, the apartment and the sum of money were certainly suspicious.



'I still dont get it… all of this for just a mere friend? Someone that hasn't even really become best friends with Alice, heck it hasn't even been an entire month since I started talking to her… what exactly is happening here?' Alan thought inwardly however he knew that he had no choice but to accept the generosity given to him, it would make his life a lot easier atleast at the beginning and he could use the entire basically free year to train as much as he could.
