done messed up, fellas!
This was supposed to go before Side Story 1! Oh, the shame!
Seriously, though. Sorry for the mix-up. Can't actually change them up, unfortunately.
Still, hope you enjoy this chapter anyway.
Lmao but fairGet on with the main story. The side story stuff is way too early and way too much. As a reader I don't care about any of these characters or the larger narrative yet. Seriously this is like something for ch15-20 not 1-5.
Can't you just reconfigure the threadmarks to put them in a different order?Okay. So, I'm starting to see the problem with posting on so many sites at different points of this story. This chapter was supposed to go before Side Story 2, so that's my bad.
This is the last time this'll happen. I promise to be a lot more careful with posting in the future.

...I didn't have many issues until now, but this part feels really stupid.Dragging my chair to the desk, I reached for the battered notebook I'd hidden under a stack of school scrolls. It was plain, matte black, and filled with handwritten notes, hypotheses, and flow diagrams. All of it written in English.
My chakra journal.
The one I started in my frantic attempt to gain some modicum of control over my spiraling situation.
I flipped to a fresh page, sharpened my pencil, and wrote the date at the top.
