I was planning on just playing it safe but I thought I would ask for mod confirmation.

I'm starting up a quest that is being run in a modified version of D&D 3.5. The base system is mostly open source but not all of it. WotC does prosecute companies for publishing third party material that includes copyright material. However, they do not make a habit of taking action against fanworks. I know a site that includes pretty much everything ever publish that has been active since 2008. Can I get a mod ruling on how much I can reveal?

Keep it to the OGL stuff and fan-made stuff published under the OGL, and don't link directly to copyrighted material. That would keep you in line with our anti-piracy rule.

Cool. That was pretty much what I was planning on doing. When anything copyright comes up, I'll mention the name but allow the players to look up what it does on their own. Not the best system. Should probably discuss this with the players before the quest really gets going.
