Now, I will be once again publishing chapters.

The latest chapter is 690, and we are around few tens of chapters from the end of Volume and the end of the novel, per se.

Now the thing is I was stuck at writing what the next due to various reasons. First, I didn't know how to proceed on the current line, even though I had already decided on everything, including the official end of Volume IV: The Grim Dark Future.

Another reason is more peculiar. When I started writing this novel... it was really different, and after a long time of writing, long pauses in this project and everything, my writing style changed so much that I couldn't really pick up where I had ended in this one. I also had pretty big problems continuing to write in the 1st POV, as all my stories during the past several years are from the 3rd POV.

So I have decided how this will go.

Volume 4: The Grim Dark Future will get a pseudo-rushed open ending (I know, it sucks, but better than being dropped outright) and after that...

Now, I am rather pleased to announce that I have to write approximately 20 chapters, max 25 chapters, to finish this story. That would put the overall chapter count to 725 +/-.

Afterwards, I will be doing an entirely new book that would showcase the conclusion of the entire Saga.

It would be titled Holy Chronicles of the Baator: The 4th Singularity and would cover the second part of the Warhammer 40k, some aftermaths and so on. It would be written in 5k chapter formats from the 3rd-POV and focus more on other characters than the MC.

By the end of HCB, he would basically be so OP that it would be boring to write and read about it that much... as in the entire Reality, you won't find that many people that are at his level, much less speak about a threat to him.

And as I listened to the Johny Cash's Hurt song when I published the last chapters on the Patreon... I am really pondering of what I have become.

It has been five years since I published this novel.

1st chapter was published on the 27. 1. 2021 and it's finished now, after something little bit over five years. With over 700k words to its account, and a somewhat rushed ending.

This is the first huge novel that I wrote and the second fanfic that I finished. When I look back, one could say that this fanfic started it all, because it ignited my ambition to make the writing books, be it originals or fanfics, as my full-time job.

I really want to say something more after finishing this... but I cannot.

As I mentioned previously, there would be Book 2 that would serve as a loose continuation of the HCB, but it won't really feature MC that much. Zeoticus became Paragon at the end of the story and is basically a Multiversal Entity of the highest order, and so OP that it wouldn't be even remotely interesting writing about such a character.

One could say that from a certain point of view, Zeoticus's story has ended here, at least technically speaking. In Book 2, Zeo would featured approximately 50% of the time...

Book 2 would be in an entirely new format of writing, written from the 3rd POV, and more in the style of my current novels. One of the reasons why the HCB ended dragged out so much was exactly because this...

I got an enormous block for over a year and something, and I lsot totally lost interest in writing this fanfic or in the DxD franchise as a general. Over the past two years, my writing style changed significantly, and I couldn't really continue writing in the 1st POV, which made finishing this novel even harder and more challenging.

I don't know when I would publish Holy Chronicles of the Baator: The 4th Singularity, but the continuation won't be longer than 150k words, probably it would be around 100k words maximally, because the main topic of Book 2 would cover some last things in the Immaterius Universe, it would have some other content, and finally, MC reaching the Singularity.

If you are asking when it would be published...

I cannot say.

Right now, I am working on the Campione and RWBY novel primarily, and my real life is going to the fuck. Because the prices and everything are going up, and my income from writing is getting lower and lower to the point where I need to go work.

Which isn't something that I am keen on, because I have pretty much fucked up.

When started writing more professionally, I devoted every bit of my time to it like literarily I spent my entire time at University either writing fanfics and original novels or working on somthing that was related to my writing career if it could be called such...

The result of that decision is right now that, I have absolutely zero and null work experience (aside from other things like my social life being zero and my real life is actually only consisting of reading and writing fanfics or studying geopolitcs and security topics, even right now for the past year and half since I graduated I spent around 8 hours a day only by writing) after graduating from University and being really knowledeable about Geopolitics, Security Topics and Totalitarian Regimes won't really help me (considering the fact that my country doesn't even have any Think Tanks that are researching this topics).

I have been searching for a job in my area of education, which is Law, but after sending over many tens of applications over the past 6 or 7 months, I didn't get even a single interview, and because the living costs are going up, I need to take whatever comes.

I don't really know where I would end and how everything would go on from now...

Right now, I am trying to get at least a manual job in a warehouse or something like that... fortunately, I live with my parents, so the situation isn't that bad, which is my only saving grace.

The good thing, if it could be called such, is that I am, literally speaking, addicted to writing fanfics, which means that the chances that I will ever stop writing are very close to Absolute Zero. So we will be seeing each other in other fanfics if you follow my other books and creations.

I am thinking that when I finish the Campione Novel, I will write Book 2 for the HCB... perhaps even during that, as Book 2 won't be that long.

I am really sorry for the rant... I am getting rather emotional and nostalgic as I write this afterword.

When I see that I wrote fanfic that has over 700k words, I am amazed, proud, and sad.

Sometimes I wonder how it would look like if I stopped writing fanfics and made different decisions early on...
