Fuck Yeahh, I hope it's really "THE OTHER ",Yes, Peter Parker. I am your Other. The Spider to your Man. And this time, I will have you fully embrace me."
Bleghh,
And just like that I'm recalling Fred Perry's "Spiderfriends with Benefits".However, that wasn't what he was focusing on. No, because the moment he laid eyes on her, his Spidey Sense immediately started to tingle intensely. His eyes fluttered as he held his head in pain, but despite it, he could still feel it. He could feel a connection, a form of resonance if you will with the woman in front of him.
Considering their sheer strength, grip and intelligence they could probably get that train working and have a mobile base they can park in any abandoned tunnels. Knowing them they could also put in a program that tracks the other trains and adjust courses as needed."Because we needed an actual private space and I have a feeling we're gonna make use of this place a lot more than I intended." Gwen revealed as she looked at Peter intently.
And now we know which version of Spidergirl she is."You reminded me, watch this." She excitedly flicked her hand forward, a web could be seen shooting out of one of her fingertips. The web caught on to a pipe before Gwen pulled, slinging the pipe to her hands.
Peter looked to Harry for help, but the man just raised his arms in surrender while mouthing 'Sorry, man'. He couldn't even be mad about it, Gwen was scary when she got going.
Good call Harry, don't get between the girl who can literally rip you limb from limb and her beau."I don't exactly have the money for that yet–"
"Harry's dad paid me plenty, I'm paying."
"Time and place to meet, I'll be there." Peter quickly answered. "Will it be just us or…" he glanced at Harry.
"Nah man, it ain't my thing. You two have fun." Harry quickly escaped the crossfire when Gwen directed her gaze to him.
No! Bad Peter! I can understand having a different setup for when you're full on natural webbing but when you're out of that you're out until your body makes more. If you're swinging around New York and webbing up criminals and whatnot you will run out. Not if but when. So having web cartridges you can carry around and instantly replenish by swapping it out as a back up can only be a good thing. He looked down at his hand and contemplated. It would be nice if he had natural web shooters like Peter Two and Gwen had. It would save him quite a bit of time from maintaining his web shooters that's for sure. Playfully, he made his signature devil horn sign and mock shot toward the door of his room.
Suddenly, pressure could be felt from within his wrist, and without warning, something shot out of it and stuck to the edge of his door. Peter looked at it with wide eyes, glancing at his wrist every so often.
"I can shoot webs…" He muttered with some surprise in his tone.
This changed a few things, he would no longer need to make his web shooters! He had already told Harry to buy some materials to make a better web shooter since he thought he still had the same powers but it seemed like it wasn't needed. With Peter Two's memories, he already has a perfect guide on how to use it masterfully.
So is that going to be the fun kind of venom or the normal not fun kind…He also noticed that there was something dripping slightly from the stingers.
Not fun kind it is.He had even shown off his stingers, which apparently had enough venom to put down an adult man with a single nick. He should probably be careful with that.
Its a good thing that arachna sapiens tend to have moderate healing factor as well. Won't stop instant death like Wolverine or Deadpool but it'll often allow them to get back in the metaphorical fight like a week later when they by all rights should be down for months. At best he would get a few scratches but at worst he could die. They might be fast, but they're not bulletproof.
I wonder how this actually works for her. Unlike Peter, she's firing her webs from her fingertips. Which means that she wouldn't be able to grab it. Which also means that she's swinging by her fingertips because she can't hold onto the strands otherwise. Another thing would be that if she makes a fist she's closing off access to her webbing. And how does Peters web enhancer work for her either? There's just not a lot of space on a persons fingertips to work with.Gwen on the other hand lagged behind as she wasn't used to it but she was getting there.
Gwen released a breath as she released the web and shot out another. She was fully aware that she should feel some strain due to the momentum and weight of her body. But with her enhanced physique, all she could feel instead was the rush of adrenaline that coursed through her as she swung through the air.
"Uncle Ben…what would you do if you had this really great power? You could do a lot of things with it. Help a lot of people and even make the world a better place with this power. You always say that with great power comes great responsibility. So what would your responsibility be in that situation?" Peter asked as he looked at his uncle with pondering eyes.
And that's the problem with Uncle Ben. He's effectively supposed to be a caricature of a role model. An ideal. The problem with that is he is/was very much a human being and while he left Peter with a good ideal, it's ultimately a self destructive one if one doesn't self moderate. Which is a bit of a problem since Peter has a "bit" of a savior complex. He had always wondered if he was using his powers the right way. If he was ever using it responsibly. But now with Uncle Ben in front of him, he can have his answers.
There ya go! The white mage problem! Can't help anyone if you're dead so take care of yourself first and then those around you."I'll get straight to the point then. Sometimes, in order to help other people, you need to help yourself first. The analogy I was trying to make? Those people and that very company would not be able to fund the homeless shelter if they didn't build themselves up first. How can they give even a single dollar if they can't even put a roof over their head?"
Peter blinked as he thought it over. "I think I get what you're trying to say. So you're saying that I need to help myself first, like build myself up and be successful and everything, before I can truly help other people?"
